It was a normal day, like any other. I woke up, got dressed in my usual black jeans and hoodie, brushed my teeth, weighed myself, and stared in the mirror trying to convince myself that I would be fine. I just had to take it day by day.
I got on the bus, ignored the normal chantings of "freak" and "weirdo", and waited for my best friend Daniel to sit next to me and tell me that it would be alright. They just don't understand that it's ok to be bi and they don't understand because they've never been suicidal.
But he didn't come.
Immediately I started to worry. Daniel never missed school. It didn't matter if he was projectile vomiting 4 feet; he would never miss school. Unless he was... No he's not Kyle. Calm down

"Many of you may know Daniel Jacobs. He was a great role model, a straight a student. I am devastated to inform you, he has been killed in a drunk driving accident."
And suddenly I was out the door.
