"Ali let's go!" My brother yelled from downstairs
"Coming" I hate that scooter drives me to school it would be easier if I had my own car
I ran downstairs and sprinted outside to his car
"Omg I'm so tired, why do we have to get the so early?" I asked scooter as he looked back trying to pull out of the drive way
"Orientation for the new kids" I sat thinking then i remembered "omg Julie's coming I'm so excited to see her"
As we pulled up to the school scooters team was standing in front waiting for us
As I walked out Rick turned towards us and had his smile that smile the smile I fell in love with the smile I've known since I was 6 and Rick and scoot were 7
"Hey scoot" Rick said
"Sup"
"ALI" Rick said running to me "sup kiddo"
"I hate that you call me that still" I said
"Aww but your the little baby of the group" scoot said teasing me
"Ok ok chill out" rick said
Rick was always nice he always stood up for me when scooter was being mean or anyone else
"So your sitting with us in the presentation?" Rick asked me
"Ya sure"
The bell rang and everyone bled into the gymnasium
We all sat together The presentation was long but Rick talked to me the whole time
"Damn who are you" the boy beside me asked looking me up and down
Rick could see I was uncomfortable "she's my girl" dick said obviously lying I looked back at him and we both started laughing
There were some loud thuds coming from behind the curtain a group of kids fell out behind it
"We're the ducks" a boy said
Everyone laughed
There was one guy who was kinda cute
"Why are you smiling?" Rick said poking my side "look at that guy"
"He looks like a loser" rick said getting defensive
"And you can tell how?" I said smiling
"He looks like a douchebag"
"Ok you may all go to class now" the principal said
"Come on I'll walk you to class" Rick said "wait come with me" I grabbed his hand and walked to the front
"Julie!" I said
"Ali!" We ran to each other and hugged
I could see the guy looking at me in the corner of my eye
"Who's that guy?" I whispered to Julie's ear
She looked back "oh that's Luis"
"He's cute" I smiled at her "no no your not gonna ruin ur life with him"
"Ok we'll I gotta go to class bye love you"
"Love you too" Julie said
Rick
I could see that guy eyeing up Ali as she talked to her friend
"Let's go" Ali said
I was walking her to class
"So did you get anything on that guy?" I asked
"His name is Luis apparently he's a player though" she said
"Ok so you still tryna go with him?"
"I never said I was I just though he was cute"
"Good I don't wanna see you hurt" I was relived
"Why do you care so much?" She tuned to look at me
"I just care about your feelings"
"Ok we'll this is my class bye riley" she looked at me

I got to math and I saw one of my good friends Linda I sat beside her
"Hey what's up" she asked
"Nothing hbu-"
I was cut off by my teacher
"Since we have new students I'm gonna change up the seating plan a little" he put a picture up on the tv I said I sat in the back not with Julie anymore
Then Luis walked in all I thought was how funny in would be if we sat together
He was walking to the back of the class room
I started talking to a girl I had in my science class last year then my teacher drew our attention to him I looked beside me and Luis was there I didn't say anything I guess I should've
"Ok come and grab a paper for you and your table partner" I grabbed them for us to think of something to say

I sit bye the hot girl from the gymnasium earlier
She got up to grab the papers and damn she's slim thick really pretty face too

"Hey" I smiled at him
"Hey" he said smirking
It was silent for about 10 minutes
"Do you have a bf?" He whispered
I didn't know what to say Julie and Rick don't want me to be with him
"Yes" Omg I'm so stupid
"Who is he?"
Shit I gotta think of someone
"His names rick"
"That asshole that was with you in the gym?"
"Ya you don't even know him to be calling him an asshole"
"He just seems like the type"
"He said the same about you"
"Who is he?"
"Why do you care? He's the varsity team captain" I hope rick will play along
The class continued luis looked at me a lot
The bell rang and I sprinted to Rick
"Rick Luis was talking to me in math and he asked if I had a bf and I said yes because you and Julie said not to talk to him and he tried to make a move so I said I had a bf and he asked who and so I said you were so can you act like my bf pls?" I ranted
Ricks face lit up "ya sure" I sighed in relief "thank you- oh shit he's coming"

She grabbed my arm and wrapped it around her shoulder
"Don't look at him look at me" i said
"So we really have to sell this because I have all of my classes with him" She said frantically
"What class do you have next?" He asked
"Science, walk me?" I walked her to her class with my arm around her shoulder
This is the best idea she has ever had
