*knock* *knock* ........Honey are you up yet? *bang* *bang* Honey get up you have a big day ahead of you. *creek* As the bed room door is cracked open and my mother walks in. "Olivia!" Mother whispers in my ear as she pushes my shoulder. "Geror" I growled quietly, "jut a few more minutes please mother I went to bed late, because I was working on my project for math."
"NO" mother said frustratedly. " now get up, get dressed and did up; then meet me and father down in the kitchen." "Ugh" I stated dragging myself out of the bed. Feeling the warmth of my large fluffy cover leaving my body. I quickly staggered toward my closet to find my favorite pair of skinny jeans. They were light in color and just the right fit; and slide them on, trying to secure the warmth I had, had earlier. Now that I had finally got rid my goose bumps that had occurred shortly after my awaking. I was still slightly chilly since my fan was on. I would have turned it off; but then I would have been uncomfortable with the still motionless air that filled the room. I searched for my sweater the one had wore almost everyday that week, being as it was Friday and also my 16th birthday. This was the reason my mother had called me once more to hurry up and go down into the kitchen where they were.
Once I had gotten "all dolled up" which was not much for me. See as I would never be caught in a dress or wearing much makeup just maybe a little mascara and eyeshadow here and there. I was and still is an athlete; some call me a "tomboy", but never a "girly girl".
As I was trying to sneak down my old wooden stairs ,that liked to make the most awkward sounds ever, I was startled. As my older brother, David, now 18 years of age shook me and whispered, "happy 16th birthday little sis; anyways what are you doing?" I replied, "trying to see what mother and father have done for me in the kitchen." David continued to whisper. "Ohh okay will don't let me hold you." As I rolled my eyes towards him and kept tip toeing down the stairs; I sneaked around the corner. Where now I am able see into the kitchen. "Oh my god" I accidentally said out loud. It was amazing, my kitchen no longer looked like a kitchen. There were ribbons every where hanging high and low and of all colors. There were balloons of all shapes and sizes; I could tell that my parents had blown the balloons up them selfs; as I could hear a slight difference in my voice as I spoke to my them, as it was higher than before. I started plainly walk toward my parents and asking if I may open it. It being a medium size box that was neatly wrapped in colorful paper that stated happy sweet 16th birthday. When I looked up at my parents, that had been smiling and letting out giggles every once and while, they said almost simultaneously, "go ahead sweetie it is yours after all." Then all of a sudden, sirens were heard, followed by several gunshots. I could hear people screaming outside and calling for help. Despite living in downtown New York City, it was rare to hear gunshots. Immediately, I dialed 911 to bring in help- but I realized, it was too late.
All of a sudden I heard a plane fly overhead, followed by multiple loud explosions. Immediately after I heard more screeches, from people and cars alike. As I peer outside, I see multiple buildings on fire with one collapsing. I then see that the plane was coming back, and fly overhead. Abruptly, the building shook as there was an explosion. Fire alarms went off as smoke started to fill downstairs. The last thing I see are rocks coming down and my parents trying to save me.
DREAM OVER
Their I was standing in the middle of the hall about to go to 4th period.
