"Considering I'm Tig Trager's daughter, I can handle anything, Jax. And if that means having to deal with you and your crazy ass family, I'm here for the long run."
"You really wanna say my family is crazy when your dad is as crazy as it gets."
"I'm...

"Einstein said that any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. But it takes a touch of genius and lots of courage to move something in the opposite direction. I'm realizing that my touch of genius and my courage are coming too little, too late. And I fear that for SAMCRO, there may not be no opposite direction."
It was a very exciting day for the Teller's. Abel was getting out of the toaster today and Jax had barely been able to sleep the night before. Despite not ever wanting to bring a kid into this life, he couldn't help the surge of emotions that ran through him about finally getting to see his son. After weeks of the only contact he had with his son being through a glass box, he had been very eager to finally getting to properly hold his kid.
Kris had taken over for Dr Namid for Abel and had Shawn on her service today and while the two were making their rounds, Gemma had been camped out in her grandson's room all morning. After a day like yesterday, she knew Gemma wanted to be close to him and Shawn couldn't blame her.
Yes, SAMCRO had dealt with police and feds before but never one like this. Never one with a vendetta against a member because of his ex-girlfriend and one who was willing to go as far as pissing on the carpet of a nursery.
Jax had texted Shawn that he was heading up to the hospital and to have her meet him in Abel's room whenever she got a chance. She had been nervous all day, to say the least. Once Abel got out, everything was going to change for them. Gone were the nights he'd be at her apartment. They hadn't had any conversation about what was to happen when he came home; what that meant for them. It was easy to pretend things weren't gonna change once he did but it was only a matter of time before something happened.
Jax had walked into his son's room and gave his mom a tight smile as he walked over to the toaster. There were still a few hours to go before Abel was out but he didn't mind. He also needed a peace of mind after yesterday. The only sounds that were heard was the steady beeping of the monitor that was connected to the incubator.
"I'm sorry," Jax caved, glancing up at his mom, "I didn't mean to go off on you last night."
He really didn't. It was just a tense situation and her immediately placing the blame on Tara didn't help. He was just trying to wrap his around the fact this ATF guy clearly had a hardon for him and he wanted to know why. His conversation with Tara last night hardly gave him any clarity. Claimed she didn't know he'd still be in Charming but he knew that was a lie. Where else would he go?
He didn't really understand what he was looking for in his conversation with Tara; closure, maybe? The way things got left between them had haunted him for years and her coming back...trying to be part of his life again...it wasn't what he wanted. Not when he and Shawn had a good thing going. What he and Tara had-that was that high school Romeo and Juliet shit. With Shawn, he felt like he didn't need to hide who he was. He could be vulnerable around her without getting any judgment.
