Sin. An immortal act committed against divine law. Buddhism sees it as karma and its Three Poisons. Judaism believes it occurs naturally, for no human is perfect. Christianity shows sin as an apple, the forbidden fruit, which Eve is allured too by the enchanting serpent. God, she was promised, and as she bit the glossy hide of the juice filled promise, it all disappeared. The juice which is so sweet it burns you throat, sets your teeth on fire, and your mind ablaze. One moment of pure ecstasy that results in the purging of your body as the flies buzz about you bloodied face and Beelzebub takes his place in your decrepit body. Sin. Now found in the youth that walk the streets with slang profanities slung out their mouths before they even understand what they mean. The seven deadly sins which make you less and less of a person now runneth over into the society which we all live. Pride (one) the sweltering cesspool in which the others arise from. Those blocking their eyes from God with their over confident hand, reflecting His glorious light with a mirror in which they stare into profusely, not breaking their trace with their own reflection. Next, Lust (two) a desire which strikes the youths younger and younger in age, selling their bodies for a small piece of heaven that they envision in their body's eye only briefly before they reluctantly return back to their mortal selves. From this, envy (three) arises as well as wrath (four); jealousy that people feel sometimes just because they believe they should, not because they truly do. Then those who don't get what they think they deserve abandon the game of love and turn to sloth (five) and gluttony (six) for a replacement, an easy cure to fill the void they believe should have been filled with many short sexual relationships instead of a long lasting connection. But once people get a taste of just one sin, greed (seven) drags them down the wrong path into the darkness and they plague themselves of anything once good with hot sex and smoke filled room, trying to savor the moments in the haze they create and continually put themselves back in the wrong way. Sin is what kills people, what makes people wish for the end; it makes people turn towards what is truly evil in this world.
