After the Battle of Exegol, and the Resistance's victory over Darth Sidious and the Final Order, Rey heads to Tatooine, where she visits Luke's old home from where he was a moisture farmer. She explored the entire place, seeing what Luke had been doing for a while.
She took both Anakin and Leia's lightsabers and placed them in a red piece of fabric and tied it up. Rey uses the Force to buried the Skywalker lightsabers in the sand, while taking her own lightsaber and igniting it, revealing a yellow blade.
She sighed, wondering what to do next with her life. She sees an old woman show up, Rey deactivated her lightsaber as the woman spoke. "There has been no one here for to long." The old women said. They stood silent until the woman spoke.
"Who are you?" The woman asked. Rey took a deep breath and spoke her name. "I'm Rey." Rey said. The old woman spoke again, confused and uncertain. "Rey who?" The woman asked. Rey took a moment to think, she couldn't tell her what her real name is.
She turned her head to see something in the distance, she smiled, knowing who it was. The Force ghosts of Luke, Leia, Anakin... Ben... And all the Jedi showed up. Ben smiled at Rey and nodded his head. Rey then turned back to the old woman and spoke.
"Rey Skywalker." Rey said. The old woman smiled, knowing who that name belonged to. She walked away, leaving Rey alone. Rey looked up at the twin suns, knowing that her future is to restore the Jedi Order. Now there was peace in the galaxy.
Though the story may be over, it is far from being over. Within a different timeline, the one we know today, the story will continue. During the final days of the war with the Resistance. Kylo Ren was standing in the hallway of his Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer, the Steadfast.
"The Jedi apprentice still lives..." Darth Sidious said through the Force as Kylo Ren stood silent. "Perhaps you have betrayed me..." Darth Sidious said as his voice got lower. "Do not make me turn my fleet against you!" Darth Sidious threatened.
"I know where she's going... She'll never be a Jedi..." Kylo Ren said to the Sith Lord. "Make sure of it, kill her!" Darth Sidious ordered. Kylo Ren went down the hallway of the ship, making his way to the hanger bay. As he was walking, he sensed a disturbance in the Force.
Kylo Ren closed his eyes and saw everything, he sees into the future, an ability that his grandfather had before he was born. He sees what his future was like, it wasn't what he wanted. Kylo Ren sees his redemption, his defection from the dark side.
What horrified the Supreme Leader was to see his death, he sees Rey over him, holding his hand. Kylo Ren opened his eyes, horrified of what he witnessed. He took a deep breath as he clenched his fist. "Rey..." Kylo Ren said in anger and rage.
The darkness flowed through him, his anger and rage built up after seeing his future. Kylo Ren knows that Rey is responsible for this, he will not allow this future to come true. Kylo Ren knows he has to prevent that future from coming true.
Kylo Ren heads of to the hanger, he entered his Tie Whisper and entered hyperspace, setting course for Kef Bir, where the Death Star wreckage is at. After he arrived, he entered Sidious' throne room, where he found Rey, who dropped the Sith wayfinder by his foot.
He picked it up, and looked up at Rey. Kylo Ren smiled, knowing what he has to do. Rey stood, igniting Anakin's lightsaber as she started at Kylo Ren. He spoke to her, his voice modulated. "Hello, Rey... Surprised to see me?" Kylo Ren asked.
Rey took a few steps forward, slowly approaching him. "Y'know, Rey... I thought I could turn you to the dark side, but you are a danger to the First Order, and Sidious." Kylo Ren said. Rey spoke, her voice sounding annoyed. "Ren... Give me... The wayfinder." Rey demanded.
