How The Grinch Stole My Heart

A Grand Entrance

Today I want to tell the story of how The Grinch stole my heart. It's not a long one, but it has impacted my life in many ways.

You're probably wondering who I am. Well, My name is Goofy Goof, but you can call me Goofy.

I was in the bathroom of a huge banquet hall. I was very anxious during the first 30 minutes of the party because of what he  did to my last Christmas party.

The Grinch walked into my party uninvited and started making a mess, telling lies to the people I invited and caused most of the people to leave.

Goofy leaned over the sink thinking about his last failure of a christmas party. He had been praying for The Grinch not to come again because when he shows up the party is over.

Goofy gathered himself, took a deep breath, and walked out with a forced smile on his face.

Goofy walked up to Mickey and Donald who were having a conversation.

"Hey Goofy," Mickey said, excited to see his friend.

"Hey," Goofy replied in a dead tone.

"You don't sound too good Goofy, What's wrong?" Donald asked concerned

"Do you know if The Grinch is coming?" Goofy asked as his smile soon turned to a worried expression.

"I'm sure he won't show up," Mickey reassured.

"And if he does you can just kick him out, it is your party," Donald added.

"Hmm, you're right," Goofy said, feeling more confident in himself.

Goofy and his friends hear a gasp coming from the entrance of the banquet hall and immediately turn to see what was happening.

In walks The Grinch, his face was expressionless as always.

He slowly strutted through the hall scanning the faces around him.

Goofy gets mad and walks up to the grinch. He wasn't about to let him ruin the party, not this time.

Goofy steps right up to The Grinch only a foot away from him with a stern look on his face.

"I'm gonna ask you to leave" Goofy says sternly.

"Ooo im so scared," The Grinch says with a sarcastic tone still with no expression.

"I said LEAVE!" Goofy yells causing everyone to go silent.

The Grinch steps closer to Goofy, inches away from his face and whispers into his ear.

"No."

The Grinch walks around Goofy and into the hall. Goofy stands there, dazed by The Grinch's boldness and confidence, it was kinda... attractive.

Goofy could feel his face getting red hot and quickly gathered himself before turning around, but when he did, he saw some people leaving.

He asked them why they were leaving, but they all gave the same reason. It was because he  was here. It was time Goofy got serious.
