I thought to myself as I tighten my grip around his thin waist so he wouldn't break free and try to jump.

He said in his usual calm tone, that didn't hide the fact that he was shaking... He knew he was scared, it's visible...So then why...? Why is he trying to end it...!? It annoys me...

I yelled before facing him eye to eye. I don't know him personally... And I don't intend to... But the fact that he looks just like Her is what scares me...
"Why? I don't even know you! So stop trying to be a hero! I don't want your saving! I DON'T NEED IT!! SO LET ME GO!!! 💢... "
"Shut up and quit being stubborn! 💢"

I scolded while roughly pulling him in with all my strength. With the extra weight I lost balance and fell backwards as he fell on top of me.
"Ngh..." I groaned in pain as my whole back met the ground and from the extra weight added in front of me.

Kohaku wasted no time and hurriedly attempted to escape when he was abruptly pulled down by two hands that were tightly holding his wrists, which were still covered with brand-new scars, to which he whined, plus the impact that was made when his body met the concrete floor. Once they made eye contact Stephen glared at him in response to his cries.
"Ah... That hurts... "
"It'd be worse if you had proceeded to jump!"
"If I survive? Yes, but I wouldn't know that if I didn't even try in the first place..! 💢"
"You don't even have the courage so there isn't a point in trying..!! 💢"
Upon hearing those words, Kohaku bit his lips in anger & sorrow. He couldn't bare to cry in front of him, that'll just prove his point! Whatever it takes he mustn't give in!
"... So what if I am scared...??? Why do you even bother...💢 if it's just for your reputation—"
"...I'm not trying to save you..."
"What...?"
Kohaku's eyes widened when he heard the statement, his head began to fill with questions; the statement had no affects to Kohaku but instead he was curious. Before he could open his mouth to ask, the answer was immediately delivered to him.
"... I'm only trying to save myself... I'm no hero nor do I intend to be one. So don't think such highly of yourself..."
