I was quite baffled when every one started laughing. I snapped out of my thoughts and saw that my teacher was staring at me with a smirk on her face, arms crossed.
"Day dreaming about who, Ms. Roberts?" She chuckled.
Now I know who are they laughing about.
"N-No one, Mrs. Gonzalez." I startled.
"Well, did you hear what I just said about the state of Texas?" She asked, walking slowly towards me.
"Y-Yes?" I started to nibble my finger nails.
"Could you repeat what I said?"
Bell
"Thank the bell," She smirked. "Okay, class don't forget about the quiz tomorrow, study well."
Everyone started to exit the room, including me.
I am Andrea Reese Roberts, my family calls me Andy while everyone here in school calls me freak.
Yes, you heard me.
F. R. E. A. K
And why? Because I barely talk and I always keep my head down like there's always a big zit on my face. So people around thinks that I am a mute. Which is clearly not.
"Watch it freak." A guy bumped my shoulder that caused my books that I was holding to fall.
"Hey, look," one of the jocks pointed at me. "Want some help there?"
"Clearly not, you might get freaky germs from her."
Freaky germs.
What kind of phrase is that?
"Hey, freak. How bout we play the silent game?"
"Do you guys have classes to attend to?" I accidentally blurted out.
"Oh wow. She talks guys." Mucho said. And yes, his name is Mucho which happens to be Hispanic. Like me. Half British, half Hispanic.
"Whatever. I need to get to class." I rolled my eyes as I started to walk to drama class.
Welcome to my world.
You see, I am a child of Andrew Roberts and Gianna Maria Roberts. And how big of a deal is that?
My father runs an international business of cars while my mother runs an international business of clothing.
Yes, I am born rich.
But why am I sticking to baggy shirts, hoodies, pants that looks like a hand-me-down from my great great grandmother and finally, like other geeks, big ass round glasses?
Because I decided to be hidden in the dark parts of this school and not in the spot light.
"Good morning, Class. I've got great news for you all!" Mrs. Smith said rather enthusiastically.
"Well, April 20 is approaching fast and do you guys know what happens on April 20?" No one said a thing. "It's School Play Day!"
Drama class is my favorite subject of all time. Well, acting has been in me but the problem is I'm really shy.
But I promised to myself to be in a school play before heading to college. And maybe my parents would be there to support me.
"Of course, the classic Grease." Mrs. Smith said when cheers filled the room.
"Okay, so the auditions starts on Wednesday. Good luck!" And after that she proceeded with her lecture.
"I'll Audition for Sandy's role so me and Harry would be partnered up." The voice belong to none other, the school's sweet heart Hilary May.
She's very popular and powerful. She's also known as Harry Style's girlfriend. It's really weird to know that almost every night she sleeps with him due to those visible hickeys on her chest.
After not listening to what Mrs. Smith's lecture, the bell rang that signals it's the end of the day.
I shuffled out of the room and got in my car then automatically drove home.
It was a Friday.
That means tomorrow night, someone would throw a party. And I just know who would.
Harry Styles.
And that means another sleepless night for me.
Harry is my neighbor. Now, you ask me why I'm rarely seem with these days him is because he is really a cocky guy.
And arrogant I may add.
Well, this is how we first met.
I was 11 when we moved to Holmes Chapel. We were moving the boxes as I sat on the swing that my dad recently installed.
I looked at the house. It was a little larger than our house before. I thought about my friends way back in Westminster, clutching the Goodbye card in my hand.
"Hey." Harry said, nearing me.
"Hi." I went closer to him.
"Im Harry. What's your name?" He asked.
"Andrea." I smiled shyly.
Then we talked a lot. We basically became best friends for like 4 years or two then after we turned 15, he stopped talking to me.
Harry was already with his group of friends, which is friends now, before we met so I guess his friends didn't really like me and told him to distance himself from me.
I didn't blame him though. I am a geek now in my new school.
