Summer twirled her blonde locks between her elegant fingers and cast a glance at the clock on the opposite wall.
She sighed as she laid back in her chair, waiting for the last five minutes of the school day to be up.
History was one of Summer's worst classes and Mr Williams was her worst teacher. Basically Summer + History + Mr Williams = A long two hours of boredom which leads to imminent death.
Hanna, one of the members of Summer's gang, was also taking no interest in whatever Mr Williams was trying to get into the rest of the class members' thick skulls. She had was leaning on her arm next to Summer, almost dormant.
"I want your essay on my desk in two weeks." Mr Willaims adjusted his heavily rimmed glasses, sitting at his desk.
Summer looked to her teacher in confusion. "Huh?..."
Hanna blinked a few times before processing what her teacher had said. "You know the Taj Mahal Idian stuff?" She rolled her eyes. "Martine will know all about that. She is Indian after all."
Summer turned to face her friend who was in the seat next to her. "Taj Mawhat?." She smirked. "Wasn't listening to a word sir's been saying."
"You're so screw-"
The bell rung behind them causing a few members of the class to jump.
"-ed"
"Whimps." Summer smired again looking at Lindsey. "Oh my god she is so dead!" Summer narrowed her eyes at Lindsey who she and her gang had named frog face because her ridulous glasses made her popped out eyes 10x bigger than how beady they actually were.
"Class dismissed." Mr Williams droned like he'd rehearsed it a thousand times, slouching in his seat.
"What?" Hanna demanded as they stood up to go.
"Lindsey is wearing my trademark lipgloss!" Summer slung her bag over her shoulder. "I told them all cranberry crave was my colour." She sighed, still looking in Lindsey's direction.
"I'll wait for you by the lockers." Hanna grinned. "Frog face is sooooo dead." She said emphasising so.
Summer made her way over to Lindsey who was gathering her things when she was stopped by her Damien.
"Hey babe." Damien put on his winning smile and snaked his arm around her petit waist.
"Not now Damien!" Summer took his arm away from her waist with a stop-wasting-my-time look on her face. "Can't you see I'm busy?!"
"Talking to world's most unpopular girl. I see all right." Damien scowled.
"Look I'll text you later!" Summer promised impatiently. "I'm busy right now!" She stromed towards Lindsey touched her shoulder to make her face her. "Follow." She whispered dangerously, pulling her out of the classroom and into the hallway.
"What if I don't want to?" Lindsey said, trying to sound intimidating but her voice trembled- letting her down.
"Unless you want your Mummy to know what you've been doing I'd stop the act right now." Summer whispered sweetly to her.
Lindsey's eyes widened. "How do you-"
"Know? Oh sweetie I know everything that goes on in this dump." Summer brushed her hair over her shoulder "Next time I advise you not to wear my trademark lipgloss." She smiled at her sickeningly, holding out her hand. "Now give me it."
Lindsey put her shaking hand into her pocket and pulled out a tube of Maybelline lipgloss.
Summer snatched it and threw the lipgloss into the bin behind her. "Have a nice day, sweetie and next time remember your place." She shoulder barged her and left her in the corridor swarming with students From all different year groups.
