The day of the presentation for the seminar came. As usual since both Tsukishima and Akemi have alpha personalities, presenting is an easy feat for them. After the talk, the group session was set for a 15-minute break before the next speaker. The two were already done handing out the resource materials and started clearing their things up.
"Ne, Akemi, you two look good together. Are you dating?" One of the attendees asked.
"Sorry to disappoint but NO," Tsukishima interjected. He doesn't want a misunderstanding of this scale. There are people from various years as representatives from different clubs and a little slip of the tongue may cause a huge problem.
Akemi rolled her eyes at Tsukishima for the blatant rejection of the idea. It made her want to tease him more.
"Aww don't be like that senpai. Am I not good-looking enough for you? Ahhh such rejection," she put her hand on her forehead dramatically, "it's not like you're seeing someone?"
This, of course, cannot be answered by Tsukishima without revealing the true status of his relationship with Hinata. Akemi can be quite persistent.
"Please stop insinuating things that may cause misunderstanding. I will go to Mr. Otoma now so I shall take my leave."
He then looked at the group of girls who were now looking at them; intrigued.
"Ms. Akemi and I are teammates, nothing more. If you have any other questions about our presentation, please approach her as she's our team manager. Well then, please excuse me."
He left them, not waiting for any response. Akemi looked at the girls and giggled with them.
"Omg, that's so hot...?" One of the girls exclaimed.
"I know right?" Akemi agreed.
The girls giggled. They all admire Akemi's strong personality and that she can normally talk to a snob like Tsukishima.
Tsukishima on the other hand went to Mr. Otoma to inform him about the end of their part in the seminar. He already asked to go home since this is just an extracurricular for him.
While walking, he texted Hinata that he was coming over.
Once he pressed the doorbell, a mini Hinata answered the door and jumped into his arms.
"Oniii channn!" Natsu hugged him tightly.
"Wohhh! You're getting bigger and bigger every time I see you!"
"I wish I could be tall like you though!" Natsu urged Tsukishima to get inside the house.
"Not too tall so that your future boyfriend won't be intimidated."
"Is that why you like Shoyo?"
"Hahaha! You can say that. Yeah."
"Heyyy I heard that. Are you saying you're not afraid of me?" Hinata hugged Tsukishima and rested his face on his chest, breathing in his lover's scent.
"No, I'm not afraid of you especially when you're acting sweet like this. But you have my respect and love." Tsukishima hugged him back. The front door opened.
"Oh, Kei is here already. You know the drill. It's still early in the afternoon. I bought meat buns for snacks. Dinner at 7. Go rest, play, watch, do whatever in your room Shoyo." Hinata's mom just came back from grocery shopping. Tsukishima immediately took 2 bags from her hand. Shoyo took the plastic bag of meat buns.
"Really? You took the food?"
"Hehe, you already took some. And mom told us to scram in my room already. Come on! Love you, mom!" Hinata pulled Tsukishima by the hand. Tsukishima put the groceries on the kitchen counter before fully letting Hinata drag him upstairs.
