Chapter 14: Volim Te

IT'S NOW weekend and Paul is sleeping because Kenn forced him to doze into his deep slumber and he couldn't say no to him. The younger quietly move to fix up their mess earlier. He gathered the empty pizza box, the soda cans, and the trash of chips they both consumed a while ago while watching an anime.

Paul isn't a fan of that stuff but surprisingly, when Kenn asked him to watch with him, the older gladly took the offer without hesitation. He accompanies the younger man although Paul is not really paying his full attention to the TV screen since he's on his phone playing a mobile game.

Kenn didn't bother. All that matters to him is that Paul is here with him and he's willing to stay with him unconditionally. Paul tends to give his full attention whenever one of his members needs him. He will stay as long as he is needed.

However, Kenn couldn't help but give more meaning to what their leader is showing right now. Sure thing, the older one gave too many mixed signals but how Paul takes good care of him and how he treats him somehow makes sense to him.

"Ako lang ba o mas naging extra ka sa akin this past few days?" he murmurs to himself, nibbling his lips.

He stood up, and although a little bit dizzy, he still managed himself well. He's actually getting better from his fever but his vision is still swirling due to him always forgetting to eat on time for three weeks.

His fever went down and all he has now are headache and body pain. All in all, he felt alive once again. Thanks to his very own gorgeous nurse who takes very good care of him. He marched towards his room to get some blanket and drape it into Paul's sleeping figure before kissing the older's forehead.

"Love you," he whispered, hoping that it would travel down into Paul's dreamland.

He giggles at how the older snuggles himself in the blanket's comfort, how cute his soft snores are, and how his eyes flutter tenderly in his sleep. For him, Paul is really attractive even when he is just sleeping.

His level of attractiveness can be seen despite him not doing anything—even when he is just leaning into the wall, the older is really a catch. His hair added more to his quality and it made him crazy.

Though sometimes, he hates to admit that he has a lot of competitors when it comes to Paul's hair, he can't do anything about it. Even his hair has its own fandom that made him chuckle heartily.

"Gagi, HairPins? Ang cute ng name. Ang haba naman kasi ng buhok ng Rapauzel ko." Kenn shakes his head while looking at Paul's sleeping face. "Ang dami kong kaagaw sa'yo, alam mo ba 'yon? Buti na lang, VIP ako sa puso mo."

He brought up his hands and tucked Paul's locks behind his ears carefully while humming in a very soft tone. He's too focused and he savors the particular song he has in mind – Hanggang Sa Huli because truth be told, he will fall in love with Paul over and over.

He will still love him even when the stars don't align for them. Even if Paul will love somebody else, as long as he is happy, he will always have his heart. Even when it kills him to see the older with someone else, he will still endure it.

Loving Paul is always been worth it whether his feelings will be reciprocated or not. For him, even if it is poison, in the name of love, he will take it all. "Baliw na ba ako? Siguro..."

He's been through thick and thin while walking into the love's lair. He never really expected to be there; never in his wildest dreams to have walked barefooted towards Paul's stairs. It's not as easy as he thought.

There are a lot of bugs blocking his way. There are a lot of doubts and hesitations. Though loving the older is the sweetest thing for him, it is also painful to begin with. Quietness crawls into his skin.
