after leaving the medical building, I headed back to the dorm house and proceeded with my day. it wasn't long until it was night time but Emile as least came back before it was dark. I made dinner for all of us and Emile joined Me in eating, seemingly trying to hold back a unknown look while enjoying her meal.
Lucy still didn't join us but did seem perplexed that Emile was suddenly getting friendly with Me, which I was just as confused and suspicious about as I ate my dinner but, I still had no reason to distrust her as I put the thought aside and ate my dinner before cleaning my dishes and retreating back to my room
I don't know what Kiko and her spoke about after I left but it seemed like it had some effect on her view and approach on Me, whether it be for the better or worse. I didn't really know what to think about it but I was kind of glad that at least one of my squadmates saw Me in a positive light, so there was progress in interactions being made
as for what we might be doing tomorrow or the next couple of days will be left as a mystery. the short school break is nearly over, which means classes and training for Me will properly begin soon and around that corner will be an exam that everyone seems to be fearing for their lives. I'm not sure if their reactions to it are over the top, just right or an understatement but seeing as I've read just about every book in the library and nearly memorized the contents to a high degree, I don't think I could be any more prepared other than for the physical test
before the exams could come arounds to truly test us however, there was a different test that came around for the entire school. from what the teachers had told us, HQ had sent an emergency summons for St.Freya's teachers and students. an emergency had arisen and HQ was short staffed and needed extra support
this is exactly why nearly the entire school was onboard transport ships on the way to Europe, Germany, our task was to assist the B and A Rank Valkyries in combat, inside a forest that was suddenly corrupted by the Honkai.
rumours amongst the students were going around, that Ms.Rita was on sight, commanding the present Valkyries. I had no doubt that it was true but I was worried since Ms.Rita's deployment to the sector only meant that the problem was extremely dangerous. I personally thought that HQ's decision to bring the students into combat was a bit hasty on their part, since most of the students don't have any actual true high intensity combat experience but I'm sure they had their reasons
it had been 10 hours since we boarded our transports, everyone was still a bit asleep or shaken up because of the sudden call to arms but I was sure they could shake it before they entered combat as we neared the operation zone
looking through the window, I saw the large perimeter that was set up to hold the Honkai back and at the center was the operation camp. our transports landed just outside the perimeter as our teachers led us and sorted us by squads, just before one of the B-Rank Valkyries approached Principal Theresa and offered to guide us
leading us into the operation base, we were quickly showed around and told what we could and could not touch and where we could and could not go unless ordered to. we were given a brief rest period before we were all approached by the operation Commander, much to almost, everyone's joy and excitement
