"Shut up Jake!" Anastasia yelled at her brother. He had read her diary and had seen the boy she had a crush on, and was teasing her all morning. Very immature for a sixteen year old. "Dad! Tell him to leave me alone." "Jake, leave her alone," her dad called absentmindedly. "You didn't help at all Dad." Ana called back. Jake whispered to Ana, "Ana and Ross sitting in the tree..." "Shut up!" Ana snapped, threw open the front door and stormed out. 'I hope Jake blows up or something,' Ana thought.

A gentle breeze of fresh air made Anastasia just take a deep breath. Suddenly a delicious smell wafted past her nose, interrupting the fresh air. It seemed to come from around the corner of where she was. Ana broke into a run and turned around a bend. "Oof." Everything went black.

After about ten seconds Ana woke up, she felt a sharp pain across her head. She looked over her sprawled body and saw a boy. They had smacked into each other and he made no movement to get up. Ana got up with effort. She walked to the boy. He had tan skin, short black hair, and carved out features. She tapped his shoulder.

"Mmm," the boy muttered through his lips. He was knocked out clean. "Well, you must have had the hit harder then I did." She laughed.

Then she remembered she had an unconscious boy on her hands. 'Hello you're not supposed to be laughing at him. Help him, you dork.' "Ok. Lets put you right here," she said as she dragged him to the wall, all the while the delicious smell in her nose. She made him look like he had just fallen asleep and said, "Wait here I'll be back." Not like he was going any where.

She came back with the delicious smell. Hotdogs. She waved it past his nose. "Mmm, sausages, onions, tomato sauce...." he said, then his eyes flicked open. They were green with a tinge of gold. Weird. He snatched the sausage and realised it was a girl who had given it to him. "Who are you?" the boy asked through a mouthful of bread and sausage. "Charming," said Ana sarcastically, "I'm Anastasia Delta. You are?" "Danny Royage."

They talked for a while and got to know each other better. He was 14, her age, although he didn't really act it at the moment. She eventually helped him up. They walked together for a while then he stopped at his house. 139 Lakey Place. "Goodbye Danny," Ana waved as he went into the screen door. "Bye," he said.

Ana was alone again, she was in a happier mood now though, and started to head home.

She had a few coins jingling in her pocket. The sun shined brightly on Ana's face as she stopped at a girl who was behind a table. "Any spare change for the SPCA?" The girl asked getting up. She was a bit shorter than Ana but looked stronger and faster. The girl also looked very bored.

"Would you like some help?" Ana asked politely. The girl hesitated. "Okay," she said slowly. She thrusted out her hand, "Julianna Hilage," Ana took her hand and replied, "Ana Delta."

Ana went around giving out posters for the SPCA and said, "Any spare change for the poor sick animals sir?" or "Did you know that 250 animals die a year? Well, we would like to reduce the amount to, well let's say, zero."

While they were fundraising, when no one was about, they chatted away. Julianna was thirteen years old, lived in Swallows Avenue and had three siblings. She was the youngest.

At about five o'clock, They had raised four hundred, twenty seven dollars. "Wow. Thanks Ana." Julianna said with appreciation. "I had second thoughts about you but you seem trustworthy."

They said goodbye with an ending handshake and went they're separate ways.

Ana was skipping home happily. 'I wonder if Jake has started acting like a sixteen year old and not a five year old'. That's when it happened.
