There was a click of nails against dark, almost black wood. The screen taunted him as he ran a digital pad down a list of names that were written in scribbled cursive. The paper was crinkled and smudged with ink, having been shoved into his paws as quickly as it was put away in a small computer bag that he had been carrying.

Midoriya Rinku Izuku|

It was a specific name and rather uncommon due to the second name the boy had been registered with. However, beady eyes glanced between the list of names and the screen, he doesn't exist.
