Episode 6 Season 1 Resurrection Z
When Cole was a kid he would joke about how he planned to survive a zombie apocalypse. He would stock up on food and water, make shelter that was impenetrable, and have many sharp weapons as well as guns.
What he didn't expect was for the harsh reality of the apocalypse. The harsh reality of death. But Cole doesn't have to worry about being helpless again. He is perfectly safe where is now. He doesn't have to worry about it any more. It was safe here and that's all that mattered.
Cole made his way around the compound trying to find Joe. Joe was somewhat the leader of the compound and Cole had information to tell him. He found Joe outside with a group of people with him.
"Joe!" He shouted. Joe turned to look at Cole and a small smile came to his face. As Cole approached he noticed some new faces, and he would guess that they were friends since they were let inside the compound. "Sir, some of Jacob's followers are here. What do you want to do?"
"Well I thought some of them were to come back." Joe said. "If they clean, let them back in, I'm sure more will come." The guards made their way to let them in.
Cole hesitantly looked at the newcomers. It appeared to be a group. Some old, some young, and one that looked really ill. "Who are they, Sir?"
"Well this my buddy Charlie and these are some of his companions. Charlie, this is Cole Parrish. The pain of my existence." Joe explained.
Cole let out a huff of a laugh as Charlie let out a similar chuckle. Warren looked at the boy who still had a boyish glow to him. She had seen how Joe softened in the boy's presence.
"It's nice to meet you Cole, I'm Sargant Roberta Warren, this is Charlie, Addy, Mack, Doc, Cassandra, 10k, and Murphy."
Cole made a noise of question, "10k? Like the number?"
"It's his mission, it makes him feel special." Murphy laughed out.
Cole's face had scrunched up at the rude statement and he watched as the youngest looking boy hunched up, a sad look. "Ok, no judgment here. I actually think it's pretty rad."
"Well if you still use the word rad to describe something cool it makes sense why you wouldn't judge." Murphy retorted.
"Well let me show you folks around, Cole go ahead and watch those three get checked and help them settle back in. Yall can follow me." Joe impatiently said.
Cole's eyes lit up as he walked off to do his new job. Joe swallowed down a laugh as Cole bounced as he walked.
Cole watched as the three kids from Jacob's flock sat in the cafeteria. As they were examined they kept going on and on about how they were no longer loyal and how they regret what they did. It made Cole suspicious.
