(Note, this Kaneki is from Ishida's AU where Ken has been a ghoul all his life)
"Touka, please keep your claws to yourself." Kaneki muttered quietly, feeling her thorn like nails digging into his bare chest. When the nails were not removed from his side, he reached down to do it himself. Grasping her hands in his own, he finally opened his silver eyes to find intense purple ones looking his direction."Wha-"
"Are you deaf?! There are hurricane sirens going off!"
"Huh?" He paused to listen and sure enough, the blaring was distant but still there. Blinking and sitting up to scratch his black strands into place, he stopped to toss his feet over the edge of the bed and look out the curtain covered windows.
Sure enough, strong winds bore down the street, rain assaulting the daring men and women who stepped outside into the storm. "Damnit, Touka. Looks like our honeymoon is going to be cut short." He strongly muscled body stiffened at the sound of a pounding on their door. Cautiously taking towards the door, he opened it a crack to reveal the manager of the resort they were housed in.
"We are very sorry, sir, but you and your partner have to evacuate the location immediately! A large hurricane is set on a path is this direction."
"Uh, is there another option to stay?"
"Regrettably not. Housing for the shelter is a couple miles inland."
"Mm. Fine." With that, Kaneki shut the door with a silent curse, his eyes on his newly wed wife who wore minimal undergarments as he did.
"So, we have to go?" She asked, curiosity hinted in her voice, an expectant look on her features. She did have a rebellious husband.
"I doubt they'll notice that we didn't show to the shelter." He responded, a grin on his features as he made his way back to his woman. Trapping her beneath him, Ken leaned down to nibble her neck softly and place a couple cool pecks over the skin.
"Mmm, do you think Anteiku will need us back soon?"
"I doubt it." He paused to move towards her lips, his strong hands messaging her sides. "The manager said he got it. I've known that man all my life, he'll be fine."
Not allowing her to answer, Ken took her lower lip between his own, suckling gently as Touka was very receptive to the more dominant male.
Another pound on the door.
"Fuckers need to piss off." Kaneki growled only to be smacked in the head by Touka.
"That was rude."
The blacked haired ghoul dropped his head to show how he respected what the woman said. Retreating back to the door, he called out to the same man as before. "I know, we're packing up!" That must've done it due to the silence a minute later.
"So, Touka-chan." Kaneki teased lightly, a challenging look reflected in his own eyes. "Care to go out tonight how we did when you first came to Anteiku?"
Touka narrowed her eyes, a smile on her features as she got up from the bed. Stalking towards her husband, her nails danced over his exposed back, a visible shutter from him.
"You mean hopping out our window to meet each other at night. Cause mayhem. Have some privacy to ourselves?"
"Sounds perfect."
Just as the silver eyed man spoke, a loud crack was heard and the lights shut off leaving them in completely darkness. In response to this encasement of a black nothing, Touka's Ukaku burst out casting a dim light around them.
"Get changed and we'll get going." Kaneki half hummed as he threw on some black pants and an equally dark shirt only to be covered by a white flannel while Touka exchanged her regular bra with a sports bra before putting on a purple top and black spandex as well as red stockings that came up to mid thigh. Tossing over an army green coat and black boots, she allowed Ken to open the window and jump out before she followed the three story jump.
As her feet hit the ground, her body felt the chill of the rain pelting their bodies. Heads lowered as they trotted slowly through the precipitation, they took a quick break under a bus shelter.
"Still warmer than the 20th ward." The black haired ghoul mumbled before they left the glass covered box.
Eyes set on their next destination, the two crumbled into a gazebo sitting in the middle of a peaceful park.
"Shall I bring up old memories?"
"Your going to anyways, Ken." Touka chuckled softly while he grinned from ear to ear.
"Remember when we snuck out to ambush a group of CCG at the bar?"
"All too well. I was fifteen. You were seventeen."
"They didn't stand a chance. Their drunken asses couldn't even open their quinques."
"Pft, didn't one guy get his open?"
"I think- but he was no chance against rabbit and centipede!"
"Why did they even call you centipede? You had a damn clown mask."
"I think it was my kagune, but who knows. Their just humans. Stupid."
"You sound like Ayato. Geez."
"Look, your brother had the right view on humans. Most of them are meaningless wastes of space."
Touka audibly sighed. "Look, not all of them are bad."
"Most of 'em."
"Oh shut up, idiot." Touka tried but was met with a gentle laugh.
"You know I'm kidding. I respect your view of humans and I think it's very smart to be open minded."
Touka relaxed into a smile before her features hardened at the sound of police sirens. Dropping herself down to her stomach, Kaneki followed her lead as she crawled toward the edge of the fence that surrounded most of the covered circular platform. Slipping under the fence and darting towards a store that was wide open a hundred meters from her, she was surprised when Ken matched her pace.
Diving into the shelter of the building, Kaneki 'accidentally' scooped Touka into his arms and carried her deeper towards the darkness.
"Hey...! Let go!"
"No can do, Touka~"
"What if the cops saw us?"
"I can run with you in my arms. Your light as a feather!"
"Well, we can run faster if you put me down!"
Kaneki flashed a smirk, suggesting he would speak but he was interrupted by a gruff voice.
"Police! We saw you run in 'ere! Don't even try to hide!"
Touka rolled her eyes and crossed her arms as Ken refused to put her down, instead, unraveling his kagune and sending the four Rinaku tentacles through the back wall, sprinting forward as the building began to collapse.
"I didn't mean to hit the support beams but oh well."
Squirming the slightest the black haired ghoul still refused to put her down as they found themselves staring out at the raging ocean.
"Maybe they were serious about the hurricane."
"Why wouldn't they?"
"Dunno." Finally placing the woman on her feet, she shook life back into them before starting off towards a phone booth, throwing the door closed behind her to look back at Ken who gave her nothing else but puppy eyes that only seemed to work on her. Dropping her gaze, she stole a quick peek to find the man still waiting in the pouring rain.
"Fine! Get in here!" Touka yelled as she threw open the door. When his larger frame came into the small booth with her, their bodies close enough to share heat.
"Romantic enough if you ask me, but..." He trailed, his finger tracing the wet features of his wife's sharp face until he got to her chin. Only then did he hook his finger under her jaw and pressed her head up towards his own. Taking her lips into a quick gentle peck, he pulled back and grinned at Touka, waiting for an answer to what just happened.
The purple haired girl looked up at Ken, surprise behind her violet eyes. Her mouth eventually formed words and she spoke quietly. "Just like our first kiss."
