The eternal truth

Chapter 1

                                                                 Hope flickering away 

Third person pov

Today was the day that marked week and a day from Keith's transformation, Shiro was getting impatient and Allura was ready to bust down Keith's door and drag him out. Suddenly the castles alarm rang  and all the Palidan's were called to the control room including Keith. Voltron hoped the alarm and attack would get Keith out of his room but Keith did not even move because he knew his team would hate him in the state he was in; his galra state.

This time though the team had enough they needed all of voltron they needed Keith. Shiro began to march over to Keith's room. He busted down the door with one swift kick. Keith swiftly hid in the corner of the room, his head tucked into his knees tail tucked into his shirt the rest of his body being hidden under the rest of his clothes, or at least  tried to hide.All of this did cause him mild discomfort. Although his efforts were in vain; Shiro soon had caught a glimpse of him and yelled "WHO ARE YOU?!". Shiro had not recognised him so without wasting a minute Keith grabbed his things and sprinted out of the door, Shiro ran right behind him and tried to grab him all of his attempts failing.

 Before long they reached the room with the escape pods, Keith tried to secure a pod and escape but Pidge burst in and struck Keith knocking him out.  Around twenty minutes later Keith woke up in a prison cell. The battle had ended so all Palidan's were now gathered around Keith's cell and were starting to interrogate Keith. They asked him questions around the lines of  "how did you get in here?","why are you wearing Keith's jacket?" And "Why did you grab Keith's stuff and run?". Keith didn't answer instead he stayed silent for a few minutes during this time he was hacking the cell door, when it opened he ran with his stuff in hand and went to the room with escape pods he secured one and flew as far away as possible.

 After around maybe a day of flying without any breaks Keith decided it was time to land; he landed on this uninhabited planet covered in forests and filled with a very diverse landscape. Keith decided that he would camp at the shore of a lake next to a huge blue and purple leafed baobab tree. It was around 4pm when Keith landed and around 8pm the next next day his camp was discovered by a galran scout ship and from that small scout ship came out a single masked soldier.
