Ages ago, in the Midwest of Romania, lived a young noble woman named Amelia. She resided in a castle nearby the Nyxt Forest; Emerlia City. Although she had everything anyone could wish for; money, luxuries, beauty and riches, she was unhappy. She was trapped in this castle until the day she wed, which was when she turned seventeen. One day her father decided to find a suiting husband for said princess; someone who could give her a quiet, secure life. She, on the other hand, did not want this; she wanted adventure, to explore and to enjoy small things in life. The night of the engagement, with all of the excitement and rush of the Grand Ball, she fled and took refuge at the Nyxt Forest. She knew no one would search on the nearest place to her home.
For three years she hid, her people looking for her around the world becoming desperate. One day at the crack of dawn, she met a young native man whose name was Saakaar Kovra and the two quickly developed a friendship. After some time, he decided to introduce Amelia to his tribe; Stanic. She was welcomed as expected and they happily taught her their customs, traditions and beliefs. The Stanic Tribe strongly believed in a goddess that used magic to help her descendants called Gia. Through time, Amelia learned how to listen to nature, use nature offered to her advantage, read the wind currents, hunt and understand every kind of animals, to cure her wounds with the plants and water. She attained the ability to camouflage, stay under water for long periods of time, run as if she flew and to manipulate the elements (water, earth, fire and air) to her will. She also found spiritual guidance.
As foreseen Amelia fell in love with Saakaar; a love her heart yearned long ago. Shortly after they married but their wedding was interrupted by a shot, a shot that finished with Saakaar’s life right before her eyes. Enraged by this, she burned down the palace the night after, destroying all the memories she once had of her childhood, family and people. Ironically the man that had killed Saakaar was not there, he still lived. Amelia searched for him over five years without success. Heart filled with hatred and failure, she concealed herself in a cave where her only companions were snakes; Cobras. She learned their language and behavior, their predatory nature and flexibility. Each day she let the cobras bit her, the venom mixing with her own blood; instead of killing her, making her stronger. A century passed and she did not age, she did not sicken, she was stronger than ever, all thanks to the Cobra’s venom.
At a dark, cold night in October; Amelia walked outside the cave, minutes after she was captured by soldiers that had been established in Nyxt. They took her to a laboratory, drugged her and did many sorts of test on her. One of the scientists took a blood sample of Amelia, only to discover something truly strange; her blood was not red but golden. Analysis where made but none made any sense. As a small drop fell from Amelia’s arm and hit the floor, it sent a supernatural pulse throughout the world and awakened Yuoi; the King Cobra. Yuoi made itself inside the laboratory hours later at midnight, killing everyone and breaking everything on its path towards Amelia. Amelia’s ferocious eyes gazed into Yuoi as both souls joined in one, Amelia’s body dying as she was reincarnated as a Cobra, slithering herself through life.
Years passed and Amelia’s health degraded at the edge of death. A native girl named Fealteek, found Amelia in her cobra form; taking her back to the tribe she belonged to. Surprisingly Fealteek belonged to the Stanic Tribe, the same Saakaar and Amelia once did. Persuaded by her chief, Fealteek let Amelia bit her, blending her native blood with the cobra’s thus leaving all of her powers to her. A few hours after Amelia died in her arms. Fealteek swore revenge on Saakaar’s death, setting her future on torturing the killer’s descendents as long as death came to her.
