Sarah rushed to the front door of her flat and yanked it open after hearing the commotion outside. She looked to her left and saw Jake, her neighbor, and the new neighbor shouting at each other. She quickly ran out of her flat and rushed to the pair.

"Whoa! Whoa!" she yelled and stood between the two men who were practically shouting at each other's faces. She put her hands on their chests and pushed them away a bit. "What's going on here?"

"Ask this asshole." shouted Jake. Jake was a very large man. He was tall and so muscular from years of working in carpentry. He really looked scary with the tattoos that had littered his body and hands and his long hair and beard that were giving him a deathly look. But in fact, he was a good man but a bit short-tempered.

"His fucking brat doesn't stop wailing for an hour and it's going on my nerves." shouted Jake and pointed a finger at David who was cradling Daisy in his arms and was seething and sure, Daisy was crying on top of her tiny lungs, more distressed at hearing the loud voices.

"Don't call my daughter that, you filth." seethed David through gritted teeth. He was keeping his voice low for Daisy's sake but it was so hard for him to control himself from not jumping on the man and not releasing the anger that had been pent up in him from the morning.

"Okay, Okay." yelled Sarah and pushed Jake back to the open door of his flat. "Now, go inside your flat and  try to relax, Jake."

"You better do something for this fucking crying sound, Sarah." yelled Jake. "Or I will kill them with bare hands."

"We all know you won't." said Sarah sternly while hearing David shouting threatening words from behind. "Now go inside. I will take care of everything."

She slammed the door shut before rushing toward David, slowly taking Daisy from his arms while shoving him inside his flat and closing the door behind both of them.

"That son of a bitch." yelled David and punched the wall beside him. "I will kill him if he lays a finger on my daughter."

"Calm down." snapped Sarah with a sharp tone while trying to calm down the baby in her arms. "You are scaring your daughter."

David looked down at the petit woman who was now standing inside his flat, glaring up at him and trying to calm down his daughter. In the mids of his anger, he didn't even realize that she had come inside. She had changed her clothes to a pair of gray pajama pants with snowflakes on them and a light pink t-shirt and was wearing a light gray cardigan on top of them that was covering her butt.

"Now tell me why is your baby crying this much?" she asked, concern filling her blue eyes as she glanced at the baby in her arms. "What have you done?"

"Nothing." answered David desperately and helplessly as he stared at his daughter. It seemed she wasn't hungry. Once she started crying an hour ago, she didn't stop and her crying only intensified with every trick that he tried to calm her.

He was definitely feeling helpless and he was on the verge of tears as well. He wanted to die at the moment really.

"She is dry, I have checked her diaper a hundred times now." continued David. "I even changed her clothes, thinking she might be uncomfortable. But she refuses to eat anything and only cries. She is a bit warm as well."

Seeing his disheveled appearance and frantic and worrid face, Sarah's eyes softened. "Okay. Okay." said Sarah. "When was the last time you fed her?"

"Three hours ago." answered David.

"Have you burped her?" asked Sarah, glancing at David whose eyes grew wide. "Okay, now we know the answer."

She then turned Daisy so she was facing the floor and she began to rub behind her belly slowly. "You had a stomach ache all this time, didn't you cutie?" cooed Sarah as she walked around the living room while rubbing Daisy's back gently.
