Upon how long should I still endure,

Treading the cave of darkness, the horde of fools?

Upon how long should I still believe,

On lies and promises, on things I cannot see

How long do I have to wait,

When staying right here make each second feel like days?

How much time do I still have,

To live my life, to live and laugh?

Once I sought for one noble thing,

This thing that almost reached extinction's brink.

The thing that most of us has burned,

The one that has been stolen, torn, and cursed.

But still I strived to find this precious thing,

Place to place I wandered, traveling 'til the light goes dim.

I yelled for help, but none was heard,

I felt so weak, like a flightless bird.

Then out of nowhere the answer popped, I was enlightened, surprised and shocked.

This thing called "truth", at last, I found!

Deep within my soul, sleeping so sound.

I have now come at the cliff of life,

My soul shall rest, my body shall die.

But before it all, I must now say,

Live for truth. Your mask? Unveil!
