Two days later,
It was the weekend, Lexie drove to Cambridge to talk to Bucky about the baby. She didn't bother getting a hotel cause she figured she could crash with him.
When she knocked on his door, Bucky had his new girlfriend Serena over. He answered the door shirtless with hickeys on his chest.
"You aren't the pizza guy." He said
"I really need to talk to you, its important. So can I come in?" Lexie said
"Hey Bucky baby I have money for the tip." Serena said as she joined them in his shirt, bite marks and dishelved hair.
"Lexie now isn't a good time..you should of called." He said
"Whose is she?" Serena said
"This is Lexie, my little sister's best friend. Remember I told you about her." He said
"Oh hi Lexie, I'm Serena Bucky's girlfriend.." Serena said
Lexie felt a lump in her throat, "Girlfriend?" She whispered as she looked down.
"Lexie if you want we can meet later, where are you staying? We can talk later.." he said
"You know what forget it, its not important anymore." She said as tears fell.
"Lexie..don't cry." He whispered
She wiped her face, and walked off. "Lexie just tell me where you are staying and we can talk later." He said as he went after her.
"I said to forget it! Its not that important anymore!" She snapped and pushed him away.
When she got out to her car, she began to bawl as she punched her steering wheel.
"Always someone else!" She cried.
On her way back to the city, she turned on her "Sad Girl"Playlist. She played "It Will Rain" by Bruno Mars, Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi, You Broke Me first by Tate Mcrae, I Guess They Call It Fallin by Kelsea Ballerini.
The playlist went on, she cried herself to sleep when she got home. Bucky tried calling her after Serena left to work her shift at the campus cafe. But she just ignored him once again, he tried called all the local hotels to see if she checked in but they didn't have her.
He called Micah, and Micah checked in her room.
"She's asleep James.." Micah said
"Thank you Micah.." he said as he sat down on the couch.
"Did she say why she drove up there?" Kelly Jo said
"No..she wouldn't tell me but thank you for letting me know she is safe." He said and hung up.
"What was it Lexie?" He whispered to himself.
