Basically in short Pokemon are being sent to other worlds by an all powerful being and pokestops are also being entered
The characters of each world meet the pokemon befriend them and see if they could shut down the portals.

Pokemon are appearing in the multiverse. The characters will catch, tame and befriend pokemon. There's also structures forming to befit the legendaries along with the machinery to take care of the Pokemon and poke stops will appear for gear.
There will also be a rotom dex to act as a guide.

The pokemon will either appear after the movies/series or somewhere in the middle of the movie/series.
