RWBY react to Dragon Ball Z Abridged - Season 1

The Set Up

The episode opens with Gohan trying to wake Piccolo up as he is unconscious after Nappa's surprise attack.

Gohan: Mr. Piccolo, wake up! You have to stop him!

Piccolo: (incoherent mumbling)

"He's okay but unconscious." Yang pointed out.

"I guess Gohan and Krillin have to take care of him until he wakes up." Nora said.

Krillin: Don't worry, Gohan! Goku's never let us down! I'm sure he'll be here any second!

"Speaking of Goku. Where is he??" Oscar asked, concerned.

He got his answer as the scene cuts to Goku as Princess Snake's palace having a meal

Goku: (with his mouth full) Thanks for the food again, Princess Snake!

"Oh, you've got to be..." Weiss said, facepalming herself.

"Clearly, he's not fit to be a hero." Winter stated, sighing.

Princess Snake: Well, it's the least I could do for trying to eat you like that. But I thought there was... (Goku: Hmm, bacon!) something else you had to do? Something about Saiyans...and the Earth?

Goku gulps down his food and takes a long pause

"At this rate..." Blake began, deadpan.

We then cut to Goku running along Snake Way in a panic

Goku: Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap!

"...I'm not even surprised he forgot." Blake finished.

"Yeah, totally." Nora giggles.

"Well hopefully he can make it there before more lives are lost." Ren said nodding

[Opening Sequence]

We come back to the battlefield where Gohan is still trying to wake up Piccolo.

Gohan: Mr. Piccolo, get up! Please, get up! Seriously, he's gonna kill us!

Nappa: Well, the green guy's out. Too bad. Guess I'll have to find someone else to play with!

"Oh boy." Raven said.

 "And there's only two choices." Vernal said as the only choices here were Gohan and Krillin

Krillin: (thinking) Please not me! Please not me! Please not me! Please not me! PLEASE NOT ME!!!

"Wait he's hopping Gohan gets picked but not him?" Jaune said, shocked

"Well you can't blame him, given the situation." Pyrrha said. 

Ironwood shook his head in disappointment, "Such cowardice."

Nappa: Eenie-meenie-minie-(to Gohan) you.

Gohan: Wh-What?! (Nappa kicks Gohan) AUGH!

Gohan gets sent flying into a boulder and lands on the ground

"Gohan!" Summer shouted in shock.

Krillin: (off-screen) WHOOO! Not me! (notices Gohan does not get up) Gohan? (Nappa looks towards Krillin) Uh-oh! Thought that would have lasted longer!

"You're next... coward." Mercury said.

"How about scardy cat?" Emerald suggested. Mercury chuckled and nodded.

Nappa: Midget's next! (charges after Krillin) RHAAAA!!!

Krillin: (desperately) Wait! My turn! My turn! My turn!

Nappa: Oh! (suddenly stops dead in his tracks)

"Wait... that actually worked?" Salem asked shocked

"It appears so." Ozpin said, nodding

Vegeta: What-- Nappa, what are you doing?
