"Wheelchair!" The nurse yelled.
The man's pupils dilated, he didn't want to go back to the asylum. They would trap him in a chair for the rest of his life.
His legs ran and ran but slowly his body exhausted itself. He fell to the ground in a heap of skin and bones.
"He's a lunatic! We can't let him out." The first voice called, the voice was sweet and soft.
"I know" The other more gruff of a voice spoke.
The man's arms and legs were strapped to the chair.
A guttural scream came from the man as he struggled against the bonds.
But only that the scream was a word, one that I knew.
William.
Immediately the nurse ran in with a sharp needle darting toward the man.
"William" The man yelled again
He needed help something I could not provide.
The man slumped as his head lolled forward, sedated
The nurse stepped back.
"We need to help him, we don't even know who he's calling for."
She glanced back to the door checking it was open
"I know." The gruff voice spoke from outside
"You know everything, do something about it. I can't bear seeing him like this"
The nurse stared at the man in the chair, she seemed a little... sad
I walked to the door and closed it, it wasn't loud but would keep the noise in
She was immediately startled, the door only opened from the outside.
"No, no no what happened" She screamed
She ran to the door and tried to open it, but nothing could be done
