"She's so fucking sexy." I bit my lip as I seen Kim come down the hall with her girlfriend. She wore her golden bottom grill, her dreads were up in a high bun, and she rock polo better than anyone else. I nodge my best friend Greg and signal my head to Kim. "What happen to Luke?" He asked taking off his headphones. Greg was known for always listening to music. He was way worse than your average teenager.

"Things are shaky with us now." I said sadly looking at my bag.
"Sup Ly?" Kim came to me, her girlfriend went to go talk to her friends. I was nervous I felt everything rushed through my stomach super fast like vomit. She gave me a hug and I just inhaled her soul she smelled so damn good. It wasn't like I didn't talk to her. Matter fact we were good friends. We both got a full scholarship for playing softball. Now we both at Newbridge. "You ready to play ball soon, ma?"
She asked me smiling. Greg looked at me laughing and walked away.
"You bet I am.." I put my fist out for her to pound it. "What about you? You know coach going to be on our ass because he know us." I said to her we started walking to the café.
"Yeah I know, he dirty for leaving just so he could coach us. I don't like that dude that much." She laughed. We both had a good conversation about how things were in softball at high school.

"Girl! Look at that bitch she getting a little too personal with your bae." Jayla's friend said. Jayla was Kim's girl since sophomore year in high school. They always been off and on. Everyone wanted Jayla and she love that attention. She was gorgeous, I could never compare to the way she look. She suck her teeth and rolled her eyes and came over in front of us.
"Excuse me?" Jayla came over waving her hands at us.
"Uhhh...hi Jayla." I said nervously to her. She seem as if she wanted to fight but I will not do such a thing.
"What are y'all talking about?" She asked us. Her friends come crowding in hoping something happens.
"Softball...just softball bae. Chill!" Kim said to her. Trying to pull her away.
"No! She got a thing for you. Listen, she's mines, so back off!" Jayla said. She pushed me out the way and walked off. Soon as she went so did everyone else.

"Well, that conversation ended well." I said to myself. Greg walked to me then we both headed to the cafeteria.
