Hedgehogs born with power (ON HOLD)

Prologue

Sonic the hedgehog.

The clanking of chains was heard in the distance, movements, and footsteps could be heard a mile away, large thumbs of shoes echoed through the hall, and a large egg-shaped man walked into a dark gloomy room that held at least ten small creatures, all strapped in chains and rope, terrified. "Who wants to be another play toy hmm?" The man's voice terrified them more and they all leaned against the wall. "No one eh? how about... You!" 
  A small mobian red panda shivered and flinched, her words muffled from the rope tied around her mouth. "You'll be a great playmate."

Just then, a gas-like sound could be heard from another room, the doctor smirked and turned back to the mobian girl. 

"Perfect timing."

An azure blur zoomed across the field at outstanding speed, giggling and smiling. A distance away was a small cavern in the trees, and the blur dashed into it, slowing down at the entrance.
  "Sweet home at last,"

"Ahh!"

The azure hedgehog jumped up at the sudden scream and dashed out, Amy!
  The screams became louder, and the blue hedgehog looked up at the dangling other who was struggling to untie herself. "Eheh- Hey Sonic... Little help?" She chuckled nervously and sighed, giving up completely of trying to escape herself. "How'd you get up there anyway?" Sonic crossed his arms and tapped his feet on the ground, rolling his eyes playfully before getting the rose-pink hedgehog down. 

"Thanks Sonic, I might've died if you weren't there," 

  "What happened?"

"Failed trap," She replied rubbing the back of her head. "Seen Tails around anywhere?" Sonic asked as he looked around, inspecting the trap. "This is one of his traps." Amy replied after.

Sonic flicked his ears and stood still, the azure hedgehog turned around and quickly pinned Amy down to the ground. 

"You're not Amy."

Not even a second the robot glitched and popped, its head flying back in the direction of the nearby field. "What in the heck was that? better check it out!"

The menacing laugh of the round-shaped man echoed through the halls while the screams of the poor mobian were overpowered by the laughter. "Eggman! I recognize that horrid laugh anywhere!"

"Ah... Sonic my old friend, so good to join me on my W.D.D, It's an honor." Eggman laughed quietly before pressing a bunch of buttons on his Egg mobile and missiles shot out of the back of it. "That all you got Eggface?" Sonic dodged the first few missiles and grinned as he spin dashed the Egg mobile, making it malfunction. 

    "You haven't given rid of me Sonic!" Eggman managed to fix his Mobile and shot another wave of missiles and before the azure hedgehog spin dashed into his machine once more and freeing the trapped mobians that cheered while leaving, Eggman growled in anger, his blood pulsing through his veins as he failed again to the blue rodent.

Eggman fled from the scene, shouting a few words that he would come back before disappearing through all the fog. Sonic chuckled with his victory before looking around, talking to himself as he walked along the halls. "Somethin' about this place is making my quills flake up..."
   Or is it the chili dogs?

Sonic decided to leave his investigation for another time before leaving, going back to his little hut in the forest to enjoy his chili dog that was still steaming on a glass plate on his kitchen counter. "Wonder where Tails is right now, eh probably working on his plane," The cobalt hedgehog said before he takes a bite out of his chili dog.
