Records filled the sitting room. A grand piano lay to the side placed just a few moments away from the entry. So whoever was playing it was immediately the initial attraction inside.

A mountain of books overflowed the wooden cases that directed you to the small kitchenette. Not much need for space when your diet contains of only human blood.

To the left of the home's library was the living room, and although the two weren't technically alive. This area definitely had the most life.

Present were two chairs wrapped in silk, plush with feathers and sealed with European leather. One purple the other red truly fit for kings. Parallel to the exquisite furniture lay a long day couch over looking a fire place.

"Like what you hear ?" Lestat looked upon Lou's face, smug with a dash of excitement. He was sitting up in his chair. As confident as if it were his throne.

Well why wouldn't he be proud of the palace he shared with his Loui. It was about time he shared his treasures with someone he cherished again.

"Well from your description your home sounds lovely, thank you." Lourdes was facing towards the fire. So focused one would've thought it was visible to the girl.

Lestat stood instantly adjusting his blazer "Oh right how crude of me, I guess I find my self caught up in the home Loui and I made for ourselves. I myself forgot you're handicap. Please let me direct you to the couch."

But he couldn't move. Or didn't want to, he just wanted look at her. Look at her needing him.

"Lestat I do."

"How do you do that?"

"I do need your help." She laughed quietly using her out stretched hand to circle the room.

Her hand reached out for his this time. Searching for him. The idea of her searching for him , in her darkness.

There it was again. That unsettling anxious feeling and then what followed always by that uneasy feeling, by her presence; heat.

It was becoming a nauseating vicious cycle.

A cycle he could easily be addicted to. Like the feeling the drugs in Asia gave him when he was human.

First, Anxiousness all throughout your human body. Second, Heat , blazing sense numbing heat almost warning your body of its next and final destination. At last Euphoria, a sensation so pure and so potent it was the closest thing that made him feel like a vampire while he was human.

But Lestat wasn't human, he was vampire and yet this young woman had him experiencing sensations of his former life almost two centuries ago.

She was clearly dangerous and he would protect him and his Loui at all cost. Even if it meant befriending the witch until he knew of her powers, and that very information to destroy her.

Lestat guided her to the couch. Gently he sat right beside her.

"How old are you Lourdes?"

"I told you."

"Excuse moi?"

"In front of the church three weeks ago."

"Pardon, you must excuse me mon amine. I was." The heat coming from her was unruly. Her vain so thick and alive. Still , no blood lust.

Remarkable

"Distracted with other parts of you. Remind me again. I promise" He held his perfectly manicured hand to his chest "I won't forget."

"Yes you will. Just so you can toy with me and have me say it again. Acting like you don't remember. shame on you." She looked his way making a mocking face as if she was truly hurt.
