Boys Night In

Levi's POV

I was lying on my bed with my music blasting through my bedroom, I liked to just listen to my music as it was an escape for me. Life gets too stressful at times with school and family, especially my twin brother Logan. Logan means well and is good company but sometimes I need a little time to myself, like an ordinary teenager would have.

My Music quietened down meaning I had just received an email or text message, I lazily rolled over and grabbed my phone off of my nightstand. The brightness from my phone stunned me causing me to lay there opening and closing my eyes, if anybody was to walk into my bedroom just now they would think I was trying to use my eyes as a camera. Once I could see again I looked down at my phone, without being blinded, to see that I had received a text message from Drew in the group chat.

One Message from Drew Dirksen:

Hey bros, are you all still up for staying at mines? The parents have left the building so its the perfect time for band practice :)

One Message from Levi Jones:

Hey man, sure I'm still up for it :) I'll grab my things and be right over.

One Message from Nate Parker:

Hi Bro, I'll be over in two minutes, nothing like a boys night in ;)

One Message from Austin Corini:

Hi man, sounds good, I'll pack my stuff and be over soon :)

Once I read everybody else's replies I put my phone down and picked up random clothes off of my floor and shoved them in a backpack. I put my bass guitar in its travel bag and slung it over my shoulders along with my backpack. I then grabbed my skateboard and made my way downstairs, I left a note for my family saying that I was staying at Drews and would be back at sometime tomorrow. With that done, I left my house and skated down the road to Drews house for another awesome jam out session.

Drew's POV

After I finished reading everybody's replies, I got up from the couch in the living room where I had been sitting doing nothing for the past hour and went to the kitchen to gather snacks because after knowing these boys all my life, I sure do know how much food they eat. after I put the bowls of snack food on the living room table I phoned in two large pizzas from Dominos.

I quickly ran up to my room to grab my guitar and then ran back downstairs with it and quickly placed it in the garage. I heard the front door open and close and then footsteps heading towards the living room, knowing that it was one of the boys I then grabbed four cans of energy juice from the fridge and then made my way to the living room where I seen Nate sitting there eating some of the snacks that I had put out earlier.

"Hey man" I greeted him and pulled him into a bro hug.

"Hey bro" he replied returning the gesture.

Nate and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember, partially because growing up, we have always lived across the road from each other, so since we grew up together we classify ourselves as brothers along with Levi and Austin. The doorbell rang and since none of the boys ever ring the doorbell I knew it was the pizza guy, I quickly grabbed the money I had left out to pay for the pizza and answered the door, I saw something that didn't surprise me but made me chuckle.

On the porch was the pizza guy holding my delivery waiting patiently as Levi and Austin danced around him with their hands in the air shouting things like "praise the lord" and "I love you pizza lord for blessing us with pizza." I quickly handed him the money and told him to keep the change so he can escape this... situation... I don't even know what to call it. Once Austin and Levi noticed I had the pizzas in my hands they snatched one each and ran past me into my house where Nate was. Let boys night begin.
