I heard my alarm go off, sending me flying off my bed on red alert. I picked myself from off the floor, going to fix up my shower.

After exfoliating, shampooing and washing myself up in my favorite body wash (it can be whatever you like.) I wrap myself up in a towel. I fetch my q-tips, cleaning my ears from any soap; followed by slipping my earbuds in. After that, I rummage through my cabinets, grabbing the blow dryer.

Am I really ready for this?
What if I fuck up?
What if I make a fool of myself?

I brush through my hair, putting my hair perfume in it. I then straighten my hair with my straightener that was hanging on a hook. After, I slide on my uniform. Standing in the mirror, I judge myself.

Look at me..
I'm overweight..
how will I ever fit in?
I may not exactly look 250 pounds but I feel it.

My insecurities aside, I walk out of my bathroom attached to my room, putting my ankle boots on. Fetching my wallet, my phone and my keys, I walk out the door to my car.

Sliding inside of my ram 1500, I drive my happy butt over to the precinct.

Danny POV

I sat at my desk, sipping on some coffee that Baez brought in. Typing away on my computer, I couldn't help but keep glancing at the clock; getting impatient.

"Ugh where is this girl at?" I sighed.

Baez came around the corner, a goofy smile playing at her lips.

"Don't stress so much Danny. She'll be here, the poor girl might be nervous. It's her first day." She chuckled.

I just nodded. People were just waking up here at the office. Jill already knocked over the paperwork pile on the floor for the 9th time this week. Timothy put too much coffee beans in the grinder, making it too strong to drink. Then of course, you got me, who is still half asleep and cranky.

Guess that's what you get when stay up all night drinking.

A few minutes go by..

Baez looks up from her computer, seeing someone coming through the main door.

"Raegan, I think that's your girl you've been waiting on." She says.

I turn around in my chair, looking towards the door.

A girl with long black hair, a plus size curvy body, and a very wide smile coming in, chatting with another coworker who's face I couldn't see.

Jamie?

She maneuvered her way over by my desk, clearly getting a few guys attentions. Jamie followed behind before going directly to Baker to talk to the commissioner. Baez approached her with hand out.

"You must be..?" Baez stopped, a questioning tone to her voice.

"Cassie (Y/N), pleasure to meet you?"
