Leaving On A Jet Plane

Brooklyn's POV

I climb the steps up to the plane that will take me to my new life. Never could I of imagined that this is where my life would take me. The inside of the jet looks beautiful. It's just a shame that I can't enjoy it. Felix takes my hand and leads me to our seats. We sit down on the cream leather. Is this the life that Felix is used to? He seems so comfortable. I always knew his family had money. But now I'm wondering who are they and what am I getting myself into? I guess it doesn't matter, where else would I go? Pregnant, alone. I'm grateful for Felix and my Dad's love, but even with him abandoning me, my heart still wants Matt.
I have to find a way to move forward for me and this new life growing inside me. I promise you little one, I will be the best Mom and will keep you safe. You are now my number one priority. Maybe someday we'll be back. Until then I have to let Matt go.

Felix's POV

Leaning back in my seat i look over to Brooklyn. She must be exhausted. She's so beautiful. I can't believe she is going to be my wife. I suppose I should be relieved, that I get to marry someone like her. But I just dont know how she's going to react when she finds out. I've always known that I wouldn't have a choice in who I marry. That my family would pick my bride. To be blessed with Brooklyn, even under these circumstances, is such a gift. I know she loves Matt and I know Brooklyn loves with her whole heart. I know for now she cares for me as a brother, but maybe someday... or when this is over if I lose her, if she never gets over her love for Matt. I will still spend my life making sure her and the baby are safe. I never really wanted to fulfill my expected role in the family. I started dealing with Cupcake, just to piss my parents off. But all it took was Brooklyn asking and I stopped. I'm ready. I'm ready to make this move and step into the role that will enable me to keep her safe. The plane begins to move. I see the tears in her eyes. I promise her it will be alright.
