I made this as a bellringer for my English class. We had to use 7 of our vocab words in a paragraph.
As he ran through the dense trees of the forest he tried to mitigate his pursuers attacks. Though it was a futile attempt to get away he still tried. His fate was not mutable whatsoever and he knew that, but he couldn't get rid of that itch in the back of his brain that keeps whispering "This way. Turn left. Keep going."
With the weather being morose, and his tasks for the day mundane, he took this opportune moment to follow this officious voices advice. Behind him he could hear the ominous crunching of leaves and branches as his pursuer gets closer and closer, and his destiny seems more and more set in stone. The voice starts getting louder, more urgent, "Hurry! Faster! You can make it!"
As he kept running and running the crunching got louder and louder, and so did the voice, and then he saw it, the end of the forest, a road! "There! There it is! Get to it! Get there!" And as he reached the street there came a truck speeding towards him. "Go in front of it! You're free! Go!"
And so he did. He ran in front of the truck, and it hit him. There he was, laying in the middle of the road, his life leaving his body. As his eyes closed he heard a different voice, one of his attackers, "Dang it. Just leave him, he's no use to us now." And as his final moments went by the voice in his head said one last thing, "We did it. We're free. I'm proud of you," and as he drew his last breath he smiled, he was free.
The End.
I'm really proud of this :) I'll be working on the Techno story soon, my phone is currently broken so idk how soon, but I'll start getting some drafts done.
