Upon making a home in King's Landing, Aegon the Conqueror turned his sights to Ayosdisgi Ada. Unable to beat the Summer Beasts, the Targaryen's and Bryne's reached an agreement to stop the blood shed. Together they went on to create the Seven Kingdoms.
The two houses lived in harmony until Maegor's battle against the Faith (43AC). After HouseBryne left for Agaliga, they forfeited their lands to the throne and thus Ayosdisgi Ada became The Crown Lands.
It was decreed that the hold fast of House Bryne, Gogi Gadohi, remain untouched and uninhabited. The Targaryen's never lost hope that House Bryne would return to the fold.
