Districts

It's Friday, districts night. Kaitlyn and I decided to just stayed after school. The wrestlers from all over arrived here during 5th period, and there are 6 periods at our school. Kaity and I were just sitting around waiting so I decided we would go ask the ladies in charge what we could do to help. The lady that was in charge of everything, Debb. Told us to go help set up and run concessions.

We went over and most of the setting up was done but we helped anyways and finished the rest. Everything was set up so we decided to open and start selling the food.

"Hi can I help you?" I said in a singsong voice. Then I saw who it was! Immediately Kaitlyn and I both looked at each other. It was whitey! "Ummm actually I was hoping that she could" he said gesturing to Kaitlyn. I wiggled my eye brows at her and winked. "What would you like?" She asked very flirtatiously. He ordered nachos. I grabbed some chips and slowly poured the cheese on them. I made sure to take long enough for them to talk a bit.

"You ready to kick some butt?!" Kaitlyn asks. "Of course I am but I'll do better if you're watching!" We both giggle. I come back and hand Kaitlyn the nachos which she exchanges with whitey for the $2 that they costed.

After hoodie was a safe distance we fist bumped each other while I let out a long 'nicccceeee'.

"What a smoothie!"

"I know right!"

"I'm surprised you remained so calm when such a hot guy was flirting with you!"

Kaitlyn frowned "he probably flirts with a lot of girls and you're the one who always gets nervous!" She said laughing

"Kaitlyn! I doubt it! And so what?! There's nothing wrong with being nervous!" I say defensively. We both just laugh.

The meet was starting so we left other people to run the concessions. They always start with the lightest weight and work their way up.

"Look Brin it's niall!" Kaitlyn said pointing to the blonde haired boy I have come so find of

"Ahhhhhhh he's so mine!" Kaitlyn just rolled her eyes at me.

"Look at him go" I wanted to cheer him on so bad but that would be creepy cheering for someone you don't even know! Niall pinned the other guy easily!

"Yepp definitely mine!" I say with a big smile on my face.

A few matches later and Kaitlyns face lit up while she pointed "look at whitey!"

"Where? I don't see him?!"

"Mat 3. Right there! In the blue"

"Oh ya Kaitlyn! That's your guy! Look at him go! Those arms are massive!"

Whitey also won his match but only because he got more points than the other guy.

"Well I guess it's back to concessions" we both say. We were getting community service done for school and we had to be here for more than eight hours.

"Well idk about you but I'm tired of concessions lets go watch" I said pointing to an open space in the bleachers

"Okay, well i have my camera, so let's just go upstairs and take pictures but of our wrestlers this time" she said while laughing.

Up on the track you could see pretty much everything in the gym. We just listened to music, while Kaitlyn was snapping some shots for the wrestling page in the yearbook

A few minutes after watching one of the west valleys matches, I looked over and Kaitlyn was no longer sitting by me. I turned around and found her doing the most perfect cartwheels I have ever seen and then a few handstands and then the splits of course.
