I could hear her lowly gasps in my ear, her lips against mine, shit, everything against me. It was something I never felt before, ever before. Like a little kid who gets a new toy, I am so quick to play.. But now its making me think about the consequences.

I rolled up to the light, the red haze filling my eyes. The dim light, reminding me of the inside of the office. All of the red marks I had placed on her beautiful body. From the pleasure we felt, to the regret, now seeming to take over my fragile mind.

"I.. I cheated on Linda.." I sighed, grabbing at my chin. The light proceeds to turn green, slowly stepping on the accelerator. But then my body seemed to start to get warm, my thoughts returning to Cassie (Y/N) again. I could not get her smile, her eyes, everything about her out of my head. Shunning my thoughts off, I then pull in at the driveway. Turning off the car, I force myself inside the house.

Linda and Danny's House

12:12 Am

I slowly crept into the house, making sure I didn't make too loud of noises. Luckily, Linda had the door open to the bedroom, still asleep. I made a sigh of relief, making my way over to the couch. I take off my shirt, making sure to keep my tank on.

"I have to make sure I hide this mark from her." I smiled.

After stripping down to minimum clothing, I lay down across the couch. Sliding my hand underneath the decorative pillow, I close my eyes. My brain just would not shut off. All I could think about was Cassie.

"Am I really this unhappy to be searching for something outside of.. this marriage?" I ask myself.

"Is Cassie (Y/N) doing okay? Did she make it home alright?" I wondered.

"I miss her..." I mumbled.

Oh who am I kidding...

Groaning, I shove another decorative pillow in my face, yelling into it softly, muffling me completely. I was very confused and conflicted with how I should feel. All I know for certain is that I needed to tread carefully.

Extremely carefully.

New York Police Department

7:00 AM

I sat at my chair, waiting for the rest of the team to come before we make our announcement for the latest issue. Jamie and Jeremy, one of the new recruits, was already conversating between themselves, waiting to start. Looking out of the window, I see a lifted black Ram 1500 come pulling up on the side the curb, straight ahead of me. Out came Cassie (Y/N), her little figure climbing out of it. Internally, my chest was pounding from the sight of her, but I could not let it show. Keeping my stern attitude, I waited for her to come. I was ACHING for her to come inside, so I could see her.
