(22) All Hell Breaks Loose

3 days later,

"Do you want me to go with you?" Serena said 

"No, especially because I don't know what I'm about to walk into." He said as he grabbed his coffee and left. 

He started up his car, and connected his bluetooth. "Before You Go" began to play, as he backed out of the driveway. As he drove through town, Sorry and Don't Go Away by Buckcherry played. As he got closer to his parents, "Miss You in a Heartbeat" by Def Leppard. And lastly as he pulled into the neighborhood "What Might Have Been" by Little Texas played. 

Lexie was laying in her old bedroom, played "The Storm" by Kat Leon when Kelly Jo came in. 

"Alexandria lets go." She said 

She turned off her music, and went with her parents to the Barnes house. 

"Go sit next to James in the dining room." Winnie said 

Lexie saw that they pulled out all the chairs but two and one was already occupied by Bucky. She sat down next to him.

"What did you do?" He whispered 

"I haven't done anything." She whispered as she crossed her arms. 

Five minutes passed, before all four parents walked in. 

"You all want to explain this?" Micah said as he sat the box on the table. 

Bucky read the top of the box confused, and lifted the lid. He saw all their pictures from their summer. 

"We found it while cleaning out her room. Now it all makes sense why she can't stand to be around you and Serena for that matter." Kelly Jo said 

Bucky looked down, "I'm sorry.." he whispered.

"I'm not mad that you two had a secret summer fling Im more mad that you two didn't tell anyone and kept saying you two were friends. But even that doesn't begin to make me angry but what does make me angry is this. Did you give her the money for this?" Micah said as he slapped the pregnancy evidence on the table. 

Bucky opened the folder, he saw the ultrasounds then read the abortion paperwork. A tear began to roll down his cheek. 

"You...you killed our baby." He said 

Lexie looked down. 

"YOU KILLED OUR BABY!? YOU NEVER SAID YOU WERE PREGNANT!" He snapped as he stood up. 

Lexie stood up, "Excuse me! Don't you yell at me! Don't you remember me coming to your apartment!" She said 

"You mean the day that you showed up at my place, and then completeley fell apart when you saw Serena! I told you to tell me where you where staying so we could talk later! But instead you ran off and had me worried sick that something happened until I talked to your dad! I thought you wanted to talk about getting back together! You could of told me in front of Serena she knew about us!" He yelled

"You moved on! So I had to do what was best!" She yelled 

"For fucksakes Alexandria! What was best, was you telling me! But instead you acted like a 2 year kld you got their toy taken away and threw a tantrum!" He yelled 

Lexie balled up her fist, and then smacked him hard across the face. "I HATE YOU! IM GLAD WE DONT HAVE A BABY! YOU LEFT ME USED ME AND I REGRET IT SO MUCH! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" she screamed at him.

She began to put it all back in the box as Lindsey walked in, "What is going on?" She said 

Lexie dropped a picture, and Lindsey picked it up. "You did this? You broke my best friend!" Lindsey said as she walked towards her brother. 

"Linds,,Im sorry." He said 

Lindsey smacked his face, "I hate you, I cant look at you the same! You are the reason she has ditched me didnt come to my wedding You are not my brother!" Lindsey screamed. 

"Lindsey.." he said as she left. 

"Lexie.." Kelly Jo said when she picked up the pregnancy stuff. 

"Lexie what are you doing?" Bucky said as she walked towards the fireplace. 

She tossed the box into the fire, "Now there is no evidence of that summer. And I'm never coming back. You can live happily ever after with your Harvard Lawyer barbie wife, someone you don't have to be ashamed of." Lexie said and left. 

"James why did you lie? You knew this whole time what had her so upset?" Winnie said 

He looked down as he used a poke stick to get the box out. "I thought she would eventually movr on. And Micah I didn't give her money." He said and he left. 

He drove all the way out to the Hamptons, and sat on the beach as he cried as he held the ultrasounds. He stayed at his parents Hampton house. Serena called James, and asked where he was when he didnt come home. 

"I don't know where he is Serena. He isnt answering my calls either." He said 

The next morning he came home, "What happened yestetday?" Serena said 

"I don't want to talk about it." He said as he locked the bathroom door.
