We'll see the light again

CHAPTER 13

          Then Andy takes me from behind and literally carries me out the room. I don't even fight back. I'm too tired for that. I just keep on crying.

ASTRID'S POV

          Opening the doors to Kate's room i go in. There's a crying Kate on the bed. And a guy next to her. I'm guessing he's the one that called me. The man notices my pressence. 

''Thank God you're here, she won't stop crying''

          This sentence usually sounds harsh and the people saying it are usually annoyed or annoying to me. But not this guy. Whe he says it, it sounds sweet and warm. Like he actually cares. I go on the bed, next to Kate and hug her from the side. She leans on my chest, still crying. 

''Ben...He's...''

          She tries to say but the sobs interrupt her. 

''Sh...I know...''

          I whisper caresing her head. I actually don't know all the detales. I look at the guy and he's still here. 

''You can go now''

          I say softly. He nods, gets up and leaves. Me and Kate move further on the bed and lay down.

FEW DAYS LATER

KATELYN'S POV

          I have spent these days to pull myself together. And i'm ready to see Ben again. I can do this. I have pulled myself together and now i know i can do this. Unfortunately my ID card won't let me through. Because apperantly i'm not allowed there. So i'm going to have to get Andy's ID. 

          I am headed to cafeteria where he should be. I mean we have been eating there together these days. 

          I go in the cafeteria and search for Andy with my eyes. I finally spot him. But he's sitting at the table that's near Astrid's and Derek's table. Well, i'm not goingt to let that stop me. I go towards Andy's table. Astrid waves for me to sit down at their table. But i can't. First because i have to talk with Andy and second because of Derek sitting there. So i just look at Derek, shake my head and go to Andy's table. Derek wasn't even looking at me. 

''You're mean''

          He says as soon as i sit down. 

''What?'' ''I'm not''

''Yea, you are, the guy is literally misserable, i mean look at him''

          I look back at Derek. As soon as i do, he looks away. Andy is right, he does look missearable. Looks like he hasn't slep for ages and that Astrid had to drag him out of his room. 

''I can't help him''

          I say turning back to Andy. 

''Like i said, mean''

''Whatever, i need something from you''

''What?'' ''No''

          He says as soon as he ralises what i want from him.

''Please''

''No!''

''I really have to meet him''

''The last time i let you do that, i had to carry you out of there''

''But now i'm ready to see him and if you don't give me that ID card, i WILL find a way to get in and you know it''

          I say this sentence without even blinking.
