(Akabane Karma's POV)
after my small chat with ayanokoji and the sudden invitation we got, i rushed quickly to the room i was assigned to which was on the 2nd floor.
i already know my face has a huge grin on it, i would never dare to say this isn't amusing to be part of.
"HERE WE ARE!!" i shouted as i quickly opened the door of the room.
the sight before me was quite unexpected, the 5 people who were in the room were as follows.
honami ichinose, our lovely class leader and debatable school idol.
ishigami yuu, my gloomy seatmate and friend who sucks at socialising.
hikigaya hachiman, another gloomy dude with an attitude, i tried talking to him but he doesn't want to make friends with anyone and keeps to himself.
chihiro shiranami, the obsessed lover of ichinose honami, she still hasn't let go of the idea of dating ichinose nor has she stopped clinging onto ichinose.
the last person in the room was the class C teacher, takayanagi was it?, he is friends with that annoying class D teacher who keeps fighting with ai-sensei.
"karma-kun!!" ichinose said as she rushed towards me.
"hello! ichinose-san" i replied
"how are you doing? are you well?"
"i am, thank you for asking"
she smiled brightly at me, i guess it's good she's here, she could help with whatever exam this might be.
takayanagi-sensei slowly after my talk with ichinose started explaining the rules of this exam, his explaination is quite good and generally gets to the point with no sugaring like with ai-sensei.
it seems like this school wants to jumble the trust between the students but also test it, heh seems like fun, though i wonder what sort of secrets does the school have on us?
do they perhaps know every nook and cranny of our life? or is it just weird guesses and dark public incidents we've been through?
"In any case, alongside the aforementioned rules each class is required to have one student hit the finish line, the secrets will also not be done in order of students, it will be random, some students will get 3 or 2 secrets while the rest 1 or 2" takayanagi said as he looked at us
We all nodded lightly as he continued and said.
"The student secrets will not be posessing any context behind them, to gain knowledge of it your classmates will have to forefit 20 points out of the 250 given to you in this exam to win"
oh my they're really going hard on the ruining trust thing huh.
"uhm sensei, isn't this exam a bit too much? revealing secrets is a bit overboard of this school..." chihiro spoke up towards the class C teacher.
he stayed silent at her words, he looked up to the ceiling but he then sighed and said coldy.
"it is, but if you have some form of power to change the current predicament then use it. i despise this exam as much as you"
"but..sensei, this is unfair to us 5, what if we didn't want to participate in this exam?" ichinose said
"then leave but it will count as a loss to your class, i am really sorry that you all have to go through this but it is what it is"
"don't worry ichinose-san!, we will all work together for the sake of our class, i am sure we can do this!!" i said as i smiled brightly at ichinose
she smiled sadly at me as i patted her back lightly.
