"Going out with Jackson, bye mom, bye dad"
you said, half running towards the door before smacking it, Sean's concerned dad speech being cut off.

"It's alright Sean, she's 16" Lana said, turning to face him with a cup of coffee in her hand.

"Exactly, she's 16, she shouldn't be out with boys and do stuff. Who knows what she could be doing behind our backs" he said fast, out of breath when he finished his sentence.

Lana gave him a look that told him to calm down. "Y/n's a good girl, we raised her quite well" she said, a smile on her face that reminded Sean of you.

"But-" he breathed out, Lana placing a hand on his chest, "don't worry honey, she'll be fine, you know Jackson, for now he's just a friend"

Sean immediately tensed up again. "for now?!"

Lana placed her hand on his cheek when she felt him panicking, her hand trying to keep his eyes and face towards her.

"Babe"

He looked at her finally, his eyes filled with concern.

"She's gonna be fine. I know she's our little baby, but she's growing up" Lana said, her hand on his cheek gliding down to his chest.

"Take this, might help you calm down" she said as she handed him the cup of coffee in her other hand.

Sean's face gave off a soft smile, taking the coffee before he continued his movements, placing it down next to them on the tabletop.

"Would you please borrow me some of that she's going to be fine mindset?" He asked, making Lana chuckle as she looked him in the eyes.

"You'll learn it" she winked, before getting on her tip toes, kissing him as he cupped her face, holding the most dearest thing to him.
