Two years later ....

I sat in the garden gazing upon my twin boys. Gideon and Gabriel thankfully Gideon had left me with his children. Jebediah had taken me as his wife threatening to make good on the empty threats Gideon had once met me with. I'd had no choice but to concede but my plans from that day never ceased. An I'd finally gotten the last piece to the relic I was waiting for, I just needed it to be delivered. It had took some time to find but Jill had finally found it. I owed that woman my life she was truly a blessing from the gods. I had to hurry an assemble them and resurrect Gideon. Under his brothers reign both of our kingdoms had gone to hell. Back at war once again an I had cried plenty a night since it had began. All those deaths for no reason. An then he'd entered into some agreement with king Khalil his people had been mining on Gideons territory looking for something that he wouldn't even tell Jebediah about. Raping their women and villages taking slaves. I'd spread word that I would reign once again I would just need time. An in all this time all Jebediah did was drive their allegiance to me. Armies would rise up against him when Gideon returned.

He'd had something invented to react to my powers. An oh did the invention work which was beyond my wildest beliefs. He had been planning this for a long time. I couldn't understand why sibling jealousy could be the only reason.

I rubbed my protruding stomach Jebediah had been non stop at trying to impregnate me. I tried my hardest to stop it from happening. I didn't want him to taint my child. He was already jealous of me and Gideon's children. Everytime he looked upon them I saw hatred. I was thankful that I was able to hide my pregnancy until it was time for birth. He was furious but I'd protect them with my life if need be. Now I'd had to protect this one from him and his brain washing.

I'd been so wrapped up in my thoughts I hadn't heard that stupid bell Jebediah had put in to ring for when he summoned us to dine with him.

I ushered the children into the palace and took a breath before we went to the dining room. The only thing that kept me going was my children and the hope that he would return one day. That's why I couldn't wait for this dinner to be over with and I could head back to my quarters where the relic would be waiting for me.

When we entered the room I was utterly shocked to see Jill long silhouette standing there smiling beside Jebediah at the head of the table. My stomach twisted at staring into her blue eyes and pale face as she twisted her blonde curls. She ran a hand down her blue floor length dress.

"How lovely of you to join us "Jebediah said kneeling down to get something. My heart sank as I guided the children to there seats and I took my seat next to him. When he finally came back up my heart dropped into my stomach. Immediately I stared at Jill as she continues to smile.

"How could you Jill" I screched tears falling.

"I am a woman of virtue Victoria and I crave power and he has it" she said placing her red talons on Jebs shoulder.

"You couldn't honestly think I wouldn't seize the opportunity? How naive are you the days of our childhood have long left my mind. While you had the literal power to shape your future I had none! I was married off to some fat tub of lard. So I had to use my wits and this is the end result. He's quite handsome and is handy with that mouth of his" she said giggling.

"Darling she's doesn't need the details"Jeb said chiding her.

He twirled the relic in his hand.

"What amazes me is that you actually thought I wouldn't figure your plan out" he said drolling on about how he'd made sure there was some servant to betray me.

I hadn't really paid him any attention for a few seconds, my mind a tornado of jumbled thought. One thing was for sure the memories of me and Jill playing as children were just that memories down a drain. I stared at her with so much hatred in my eyes I hadn't even realized my hands were shaking with so much force. I felt the metal around my neck heating to a blaze as my power thrummed threw my veins. The objects around us began to levitate just from being within the vicinity of me.

Jill had started to lose color in the face her grip on Jebs shoulder visibly tightening. While Jebediah looked absolutely thrilled with the show he clapped his hands laughing.

"Go on use it bitch I dare you and watch as your head literally rolls from your shoulders" he said leaning forward waving the relic slowly in front of me.

The heat around my neck began to sear the skin but I couldn't contain myself. My gaze had never left Jills though she'd pay for this betrayal and I would be sure of it.

I glanced at the relic gleaning the scripture that ran along it. That must be what I need to say to have my wish granted. I had one thing to handle before I tested that theory though. The knife clutched in my hand I threw it so hard at her eye it blew from out the back of her head. I knew I wouldn't miss I was at point blank range. I knew the surprise from this was my only chance I might not have been able to use my magic but my sheer will wouldn't kill me. An then I snatched the relic from his hand and that's when it began.
