Today marked December 20th, and the strawhats were already fully engulfed in jolly activities, like baking horribly misshapen gingerbread cookies, or accidentally wrapping themselves in christmas lights whilst attempting to place that golden star at the top of our totally real and authentic Christmas tree. Chopper and Luffy, those two... They both have half a braincell and share it with the other. Zoro's not the brightest, ever... Well, he can be intelligent sometimes, but that swordsmans got his head so far up in the clouds he MIGHT just be experiencing Sky Island all over again. Trying to Ignore Luffy and Chopper's screams of agony as I walk past the ship (they're still trapped in Christmas lights), I make my way down to where Robin was, probably. If she's not sleeping, she's reading in one of the ship's vacant rooms.
".. interesting, " I heard robin mumble under her breath. "Christmas, eh?" I cut her off. "..Mhm," she answered vaguely, her nose shoved in that book. not acknowledging what I said -- or even me sitting next to her. I stood up, ready for the worst headache of my life and decided to see how Luffy was doing. unlike me, Luffy loves christmas. its his favorite holiday if I recall correctly
"hey! Y/N! you're up?" Luffy turned his head to me and put on a surprised expression. "I was awake.. dummy." I whispered.
"guess how many days christm-" I cut him off with a simple "no." he looked sad and turned his head away.
I sat next to zoro who was sleeping and read my book there; but if you're in the same room with Luffy, there's probably gonna be absolutely no peace.Luffy sighed, in which it was obviously him just trying to get my attention. after a few seconds, he sighed harder. and harder. he knew it wasn't going to work though.
"Y/N!" he yelled. "what?" i closed the book I was reading. "guess what?" he put on a big grin and got closer to me. "hm?" "I got you new Christmas stuff!" he yelled, with sparkles in his eyes. I sighed and continued to read my book; not like it mattered to me anyway.Discontinued.
