When your light dies out

Chapter 1

"Class this is the new student, please introduce yourself" the older women smiled

"Hi... I'm Rory" I place my hands in my pockets as I finish my words

"Okay Rory how about you go sit beside mac, you see the girl drawing?" The teacher commented pointing at a person with short light brown hair

"Sorry dude you got to sit beside the EMO" a guy laughed as I walked by, I get over to the table and sit beside the person

"I like the drawings on your shoes" The person said looking up at me

"Oh, thanks I guess" I reply "I like necklaces" I comment quietly

"Thanks man" The person said going back to their drawings, I grabbed a notebook and then notice a paper sitting in front of me

I pocket the paper.

Later class ended and it was break time, I grab my stuff and notice 3 people walk into the room and come over to the table with me and the person... did this girl owe them some money or something... oh please don't talk to me

"Hey guys" the person greeted the people "how are you guys?"

"We're good, you going to watch the game?" a guy with blue hair asked

"Yup" The girl says, I can feel her eyes on me "hey Rory, right? want to come watch the volleyball game with us?" They finally ask smiling 

"Uhm sure..." I reply, the girl and the blue head started to chat well I finished packing my stuff up

"Okay so this is Lucas," She gestured at the blue head "Aiden," she pointed at a blonde guy "and Elijah, my favorite Emo" she said laugh at the person with black hair

"Thank you, Mac," the Elijah person flipped the girl off "Oh I use they/them just so you know" 

"Oh alright" I say grabbing my bag and throwing it over my shoulder, they all start walking out so I follow... I'm meant too, right?

"Bro your name is cool; I wish my mom named me Rory" The Aiden guy commented throwing his arms around me

"Yea Aiden is right your name is cool" Elijah Smiled

"Dude, I don't think he likes you touching him" the Lucas guy said to Aiden, Mac grabbed my wrist and pulled me to where her and Lucas was

"See what you did Elijah you made Mac take away our new friend" Aiden Cried out

"Oh, be quiet you big baby" Elijah laughed pushing Aiden

"You want to play? Alright than" Aiden laughed Pushing Elijah on to the floor

"I swear to god..." Lucas cursed 

"For real Aiden?" Mac scolded him

"AGHHHH" Elijah yelled out grabbing Aiden's ankle and pulling him down to the floor

"AH" Aiden yelled; he yells like a girl-

"Now the gays are on floor" Lucas commented smiling

"Oh, if the gays are on the floor" Mac paused, Sat down beside Elijah "I guess I'm gay"

"Yea? how's your girlfriend again?" Aiden asked with a grin

"don't have her yet" Mac cried

"uhm" I think about what to say

"Bro don't worry, this is normal you'll get used to it" Lucas laughed, something about their vibe just made me want to smile so, I did. 

soon we got to the game with only 30 minutes left of break, we found somewhere to sit

"So, Rory where you from?" Mac asked 

"Oh, uhm just some place" I answer, I hadn't thought about what to say if someone asked

"Okay, what school did you go to before here?" She asked

"Uhm Central public school" I reply

"Oh okay" Mac pulled out her phone and does something "You lived 5 hours away from here? wow that must have been a move" Mac smiled

"Wait so Woodstock?" Aiden pushed down Elijah's head

"Get your fucking hand off of my head!" Elijah shouted, Aiden did and stuck out his tongue 

"You too are so childish" Lucas commented as Mac watched the game

"Whatever man" Aiden hissed crossing his arms
