When your light dies out

Chapter 2

only 1 full week in too the new school and I am already stuck with the odd ones. My homeroom I'm with Mac, PE I have with Elijah and Aiden, but I only have PE on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and then I have science with Lucas.

"So, buddy you enjoy our group of weirdos?" Mac asked as we walked to the change rooms, her next class was science and you had to pass the change rooms to get to the lab

"I mean you guys are alright" I reply honestly

"You know Rory, you could sugar coat things more" Mac laughed "don't get me wrong, I love how you're so truthful but you're like very blank about it; you don't really laugh or smile"

"Oh sorry" I quietly say, I see the change rooms and split off from Mac and go change for PE

when I come out into the gym, I see Elijah running laps

"They tried to walk into the female's change rooms" Aiden laughed walking over to me "wait did you just come out? I didn't see you in the dudes"

"I changed in the washrooms... I don't like when people look at me" I reply quickly

"Oh, I understand Normally Elijah changes in the Gender-neutral bathroom but forgot today" Aiden laughed more 

"Were you laughing at me?" Elijah asked when They came over to get Their breath

"AIDEN RUN LAPS WITH YOUR FRIEND" The PE teacher yelled out; I noticed Aiden's face go from Sly to scared

"Oh, Aiden honey" Elijah said grinning

"FUCK OFF YOU SPOOKEY BITCH" Aiden yelled out running away, Elijah followed after him

I watched as other kids laughed at the two, I notice someone with short hair come out of the change rooms; though they have short hair they had it in a ponytail... sort of

"That's El" Elijah said getting their beath near me "He's trans, in my science class" they went on

"Oh cool" I reply

"And his friends do his hair like that, he doesn't seem to mind" Elijah said

"When did you cut your hair?" I asked 

"Oh, like the 6th grade maybe, why?" They answered

"I was just wondering" I reply as Aiden come over and threw his arms over Elijah

"Ah I never want to run again" Aiden cried out

"Gross you're sweaty" Elijah said pushing Aiden off

"Bro" Aiden cried more; I watched as a grin grew across his face "Elijah baby" Aiden said before kissing Elijah's cheek

"Man, what the hell" Elijah cried hitting Aiden in the face

I walked away to go play a game

"Rory Elijah tells me people kissed in the gym?" Mac asked as I walked out of the change rooms

"Aiden kissed Elijah's cheek" I reply, Mac looks at Elijah who was now running away down the hall 

"ELIJAH YOU LITTLE-" Mac shouted "WANT TO DIE?" Mac shouted as she started to run after Elijah

"I AM AN EMO" I hear yelled down the hallway, I see the El guy walk out of the change rooms

"Dude their so weird, hey you're the new kid? why do you hang out with them" some girl asked walking up to me

"uhm" I hesitate

"El hey buddy what you up too?' the girl said walking off, the El guy looked at her and just started walking away. I started up the stairs to science, I see Lucas when I enter the room, so I join him at the table

"Hi" I greet him

"Hello" He said looking up from his phone "you should get a lip pricing" he said looking back at his phone 

"Why are you looking at my lips?" I question him, I watch as a smile fades on to his face

"I wasn't" He showed me his phone "Mac told me to tell you that" He grinned as he went back to his phone. Smartass, though having a lip pricing would be cool
