Before we continue, I would like to explain Yamiku's other personality. The one that possesses the emperor's eye. When Yamiku is in that state, she is more serious, cold, and brutal. She's still a little childish but not really playful. Instead of making fun little jokes that don't really mean anything, she tries to get into her opponent's and friends' heads. Thank you for making it to chapter 7!
"Who is she...?"
"Her hair is so pretty!"
Yamiku walked through the school courtyard, surrounded by the student body of Seirin. At the moment, clubs had posts standing outside to gain more members. Although most of them seemed fun, she was only interested in one club. She passed by the masses, many people trying to get her attention.
"Hi! You look like a girl who enjoys books! How about joining the book club?"
"Interested in joining the knitting club? you would be a perfect fit for our club!"
Yamiku gave them all a blank face and shut them down. "No thank you, that doesn't seem like something I would see myself doing." She said, walking off to go find the basketball club.
"Basketball! Basketball club!" Someone shouted. Yamiku quickly turned around, trying to find that voice. She pushed past the crowd of clubs, finding herself standing in front of a cat-faced boy. After a few seconds of staring at him, he finally noticed her. Yamiku coughed into her shirt, preparing herself. She put a smile on her face and tucked her hair behind her ear.
"Hello, sir! Do you think I could join the basketball club?" She asked in a kind voice. She didn't have Seijuro here to assure her role on the boy's basketball team, so she had to play her cards right, or else it wouldn't work out.
The boy blushed, his face looked nervous. He put a hand behind his bed, giving Yamiku a sweet smile. "Sorry, but this is the boy's basketball club!"
Yamiku was irked at this but she didn't let it get to her. She continued the cutesy act, trying her best. If all failed, she could always just call her parents to make some arrangements for her. The worst-case scenario is that she would have to transfer to Rakuzan.
"Well then, can I please speak to your coach? I swear I'm really good!" She exclaimed. Giving the cat boy a pouty face. He sighed, about to tell her no when a shadow loomed over his head.
"Basketball club, huh?" The tall boy spoke. Yamiku turned around, but she was unimpressed. She's seen taller guys than him. Take Murisakibara for example.
"Y-Yeah! I'll take you to the coach so you can get some forms signed." The cat boy stuttered on his words. Yamiku grinned. Surely, if the coach saw her, he would immediately let her on the team. Maybe the players didn't recognize her, but the coach would no doubt. She walked backward, blending in with the crowd as the cat boy lead the red-haired boy to the coach.
When they finally reached the basketball club's stand, Yamiku was surprised to see a girl and a boy, who couldn't be older than 17. The tall boy said, walking up to the stand, holding the cat boy in his hand, surprisingly. The girl and the boy who was sitting down looked up, practically gaping.
"Is this the basketball club? I wanna join." The tall one said, sitting down on the chair in front of him,
they had a small conversation, and Yamiku saw the tall one scribble down his name. He squished a plastic cup and tossed it into the garbage can. Yamiku rolled her eyes. "Even a baby could make that shot." She muttered to nobody in particular. After the tall boy left, she started walking up to the stands. She noticed that the team began to gather near the table. They were about to start cleaning up.
