Inches apart, hot breaths panting between as oxygen is forgotten once he at last closes in, clasping our lips into a passion and enchanting kiss. Everything on her mind that stressed her out had been tossed out the window and replaced with the haze of pleasure and desire for this man pinning her under him. A light moan escaped past her lips when he broke such a kiss, drawing a whine in need for more. His smirk made her head leap up into her throat, their eyes locking together while she caught her breath and he took in the image of her nude body under him. His left hand propped beside her head so he could keep her hands pinned above her, his right hand tracing down her soft skin. He started at her shoulder trailing over her chest creating a warmth that followed, his destination ending between her thighs that happily spread for him. He dipped his head to peck his lips along her neck, her head lifting up to allow further access while mewling noises rose from her. This is skipping ahead, let's return to the beginning that led to such a breathless moment.

Sat in her small chair that was set within one room that was both kitchen and living room, to her left a stove and fridge while to her left sat a couch and him. Three years, time she wasted for a man that was not even a man worth spending such precious years upon. She could talk all night about him, what he did, what he said, what he caused, and how he reacted. It hurt to look back on a past she had control within but chose to remain and hope, wait that he would change. There were points that he would but only for a day, a week, maybe a month then he would return to those hurtful bad habits that created a toxic aura around them both. After a morning of him picking and teasing her just over where to choose of fetching their breakfast only to result in her not being hungry for the meal she ordered. He stuffed down his food and rushed out of the room heading over to his friend's house allowing her to dwell on those negative feelings. It was barely an hour before she demanded his return to get his things and they talked which he did not desire as he was set on snatching his things to hurry out. She was light in requesting he speak with her a moment, a fraction of time was all she needed to explain they were over. They have broken up before but that longing and love was still there, not this time, she was done with him.

"Are you happy?" his question given with a broken and low voice, his head bowed over his knees there his hands were folded between. He looked so defeated while she was on the verge of tears hoping this would be the last time he would hurt her since she was kicking him out of her life for good. At least that is the goal of this decision.

"In this relationship, I am not. To lose you, no" answering in a quiet voice, almost as though this was the hardest thing she had ever done. Which could be true since in the past she either ghosted exes or was the one broken up with. She never has been able to know what love and passion truly is and how is she supposed to find it when she is tethered to a man that simply makes her feel like a toy. He uses her until he grows annoyed or bored, tossing her back into the closet until he feels the energy to open the doors once more. Also it had been months of her waiting for him to change at his own pace just adding little hints and pieces of making him realize he was hurting himself as well, not just her. But he did not take the time to see, he kept powering through thinking he knew what was best for himself when he was destroying himself.

"So you want to break up?" at last his hazel gaze looks up to her as she hesitates for a mere moment when they eyes meet. Tearing her gaze to the side with a subtle nod of her head, swallowing down a sob she forces her eyes back to him showing her strength in her next words. Instead she was met with the gesture of him removing the promise ring she bought him in the beginning of their relationship while in that honeymoon phase so long ago. A lump formed in her throat, her eyes following his motion of setting the ring on the side while he inhaled a breath.

"Okay, can we at least be friends?" seeming to ask straight to the point questions which honestly was a shock since he rarely asked questions anymore. She recently realized how one sided their relationship had become, not saying she was perfect, she was far from such a term. Mistakes, phrases that she had made and said have shown how he was not the only one holding back or causing harm. This was her trying to make it clear she was done and desired a fresh start whether on her own or learning what a healthy relationship is.
