So... apparently this story was trending at the #1 spot for NamixLuffy the other day... which is INSANE!! Thank you all so much, hope this chapter does not disappoint.

Luffy's eyes shot open, his body shaking and sweat shown across his face. He was breathing heavily, it was like he had just finished fighting a ferocious enemy.

"Just a dream..." he mumbled to himself, remembering where he ended his previous night. Nami laid next to him, their arms locked around one another, keeping each other in place, while she kept him under her chin as she slept on. He was surprised Nami had remained asleep despite Luffy's sudden jolt when waking up, but he was glad he hadn't waken her.

Quickly but carefully, he removed his body from hers, climbing out of the bed, before glancing down at her while he stood up. She looked so peaceful, like she was happy just how she was, like she was right where she wanted to be. But Luffy couldn't stay, not after what he just... witnessed...

As he turned to leave the room however, Nami squirmed a little in the bed, as without Luffy's knowledge, she had lost Luffy's warmth to her body. Luffy walked back over to her side and proceeded to tuck her inside her bed with her blankets so she could remain comfy, unaware it was him she was actually craving. After she had stopped moving and was once again resting, he leaned down and placed a kiss to her forehead while resting his hand on her cheek.

"Sleep well, Nami..." he said in a whisper and then carefully made his way to the door and exited the room. Unknown to him, back at the bed, Nami's eyes drifted open slowly, revealing to her that her captain was no longer in bed and was instead closing the door to her room.

"Luffy..." she said to herself, before closing her eyes once more, not being able to stay awake.

Outside on the deck, Luffy walked back and forth, finding himself not able to fall back asleep in the men's dormitory or anywhere on the deck. He didn't even feel hungry, which was rare because he always wanted more to eat. If it were up to him, he would have eaten half the fridge already. But unfortunately, food was the last thing on his mind. Unable to think of what else to do, as pacing the deck was becoming obsolete in order to hide his emotions, he returned to the kitchen. As he cracked open the door and stepped inside, he looked to his right to find a certain someone sitting at the table already and who was surprising enough, awake.

"I can cut the lock for you if you'd like something to eat Luffy," Zoro said calmly, before taking another drink from his current bottle of alcohol, "and if he asks what happened I'll explain it to him. With everything you've learned in the past few hours, I think you could use some food anyways..." The last thing he wanted was for his captain to not get something done that he wanted done. Especially now of all times.

"I'm not here for food, Zoro.." Luffy stated in a calm manner. This did not entirely work however, as Zoro nearly fell out of his seat hearing that sentence from his captain. Luffy had no reason to BE in the kitchen unless it was for food.

"Oi, then how come you're in here?" Zoro got an answer, but not one that he was expecting.

"I was looking for that." Luffy stated, as he pointed to the object that was held in Zoro's hand. After taking a few seconds to realize what Luffy had told him, he stared at his captain seriously, making sure to get his point across.

"Luffy, I'm not denying your request, but do you want an entire bottle of this or is it alright for us to split this one?" While he was not thrilled about sharing his booze, it was only Luffy and Zoro knew Luffy's tolerance was probably terrible, as he never drank nearly as much as the captain.

"Sure, we can split it, I just want to take my mind off...well you know..." Luffy finished, lowering his voice towards the end of his sentence. Zoro simply nodded and got a glass for Luffy to use for drinking the booze. He would've had the cup sooner but he checked the wrong side of the kitchen for the glasses, which took an extra five minutes. Luffy simply smiled as he watched his swordsman and best friend look for the drinking glass.
