Issac's gone.

When I wake up the next morning he's gone. The space beside me is empty and cold. I get up and look around. No Issac.

"Issac?" I whisper yell. No response. "Where the hell are you?" I get up, put my survival pack on, and climb down the tree to the tree stand.

"Issac! Issac Lee John!" I yell into the forest. I hear a loon on the distance calling but that's it.

"Shut up Paige! You scared the birds away!" I hear Issac's voice yell back.

"Where are you?" I yell in whatever direction.

"Shhhhh!" I hear Issac yell in response. I get out my bow and load it with an arrow.

"If you don't come up I'm gonna shoot in every freaking direction until I A: scare ALL the birds away or B: kill you.

"Shut up Paige!" Issac yells in respond. I fire an arrow at the trunk of a tree and see a very terrified Issac run towards the tree stand.

"Gosh Issac!" I yell and I climb back up the tree with him right behind me.

"Well that was a little unnesscesary."

"Well I thought Reapers got you!" I yell back.

"You probably woke up every Reaper within a ten mile radius!" Issac yells back. His shout echo's off the trees.

"Shhhhh." I say as I hit his head.

"Now your worried about being silent." Issac says with a mad tone.

"No! I just don't want to hear you shouting at me!"

"Well if you weren't such a-"

"A what? Brat? Drama queen?"

"I'm done fighting."

"Well I'm not." I say back.

"Fine." He says as he goes into a corner of the hut and sits down, back to me. I know what he's doing.

Issac was a little drama boy. So, whenever he would get mad he would sit in the corner with his back towards whoever had made him mad and he wouldn't move. Even when we offed him chocolate chip cookies and fresh milk. He was/is a very stubborn person. Well, so am I and since I'm not planning on apologizing anytime soon I walk over to him, flipped him off, and climb out of the hut.

Of course, because of me and Issac's yelling Reapers are at the bottom of my tree stand to greet us. I let out a few (a lot) of choice words and climb back up.

Issac is still in the place I left him. But he has turned himself so he leans on the wall. He covers his face with his hands so I can not see him.

He's crying.

In all my years, I have never seen Issac cry. He was always the tough one. I didn't even see him cry when he lost his family.

"Issac?" I say in a concerned voice. He flinches at the sound of my voice but does not move.

"Leave." He says in a chocked voice.

"Well. That's hard to do since there are Reapers flocking the stand." I say as is it my bag by him. The second he hears me say Reapers he's alert and running towards the hut exit.
