Haeyeon's pov
The customers seemed to be minding their own business and no one was entering for a few moments now so Yujin and I decided to take a rest for a while.
Of course without our grumpy old boss noticing.
We were talking about a new drama that was released recently and then we got to heard some gasping noises. We turned out heads to see towards the sound and saw women gasping at the sight of a man.
Seriously? We get to see this everytime someone young and handsome entering here.
I mean I don't wanna be rude but I just never seemed to be head over heels for someone just by their looks no matter how good they looked.
Cha Eunwoo is the exception here. But I also love his songs and acting skills.
Coming back to where we were, my eyes went towards the person and oh boy those women are not wrong though.
This man is gorgeous and incredibly handsome as well. And he looks like an Eiffel tower from afar even though he has just entered.
"How can a man look so cute and hot at the same?" Yujin came closer and whispered near my ear.
"Oh shut up" I told my best friend rolling my eyes.
"C'mon girl there are boys waiting for you to be theirs and how can you miss this chance to hit on him!?" Yujin nudged my arm.
"First of all, I don't like boys. I prefer men over them. And second, I think he is more suitable for you than me. Lastly, looking at his aura I can feel that he is like crazy rich and probably won't date a broke person like me" I gave my explanation to her before she could try to persuade me any more.
"Alright whatever you say lobster. Ooh boy he's coming here good luck girl!" Yujin patted my shoulder and scurried away. I couldn't even chase her when he is already near the counter.
Wtf YUJIN! I'M NOT GONNA SPARE YOU!! I quickly cleared my throat somehow removing the awkwardness away.
"Good evening sir, welcome to Sweet Dreams Cafe. What can I get for you?" I tried to maintain a sweet tone and asked the man who now became the talk of the area.
"Hello, umm I would like to get a strawberry frappucino and a red velvet cheesecake for to-go" he politely replied.
Hearing his voice was kinda like surprising for me. I didn't expect it to be so deep but I gotta admit I kinda liked it.
"And anything else?" I further asked.
He shook his head as a no and said "Nope, that's all."
I typed his order on the computer and told the amount he had to pay. He took out his debit card and payed.
I again asked, "This order is for?"
To this he said his name "Choi Soobin." He smiled a little and I could see it. His dimples. Those are my weakness.
Why is he is so cute? Wait I think I've heard of this name before. Could he be- I thought.
But I quickly stopped my thoughts as I saw him staring at me and said "Your order will be coming right up please wait for some time."
"Alright" he answered and went towards one of the tables to sit and started looking at his phone.
After preparing his order I called out, "Order 143 for Mr. Choi Soobin." He got up and came towards me took his food and thanked her. Then he got another phone call and left the cafe.
Seems like he's a busy man. I also wished to have a nice job like that though it's really stressful. Atleast the salary would be good enough.
But luck is never on my side. Always turning the tables. I'm so fucking sick of this.
However there was this odd feeling inside me. Have I seen him before? Why does his face look so familiar to me? I thought.
"Never mind I'm always thinking too much" I said to myself and went back to work.
"Soo how did it go? Did he ask you for your phone number or you asked him?" Yujin came wiping her hands with a hand towel as she had a mischievous grin on her face.
"You monkey! How could you leave me alone there when it was your turn to take orders?! I'm not gonna spare you!" I started chasing her with our endless giggles.
Some time later~
The track of time was lost and now it was already 7:30p.m. My shift got over and that meant I could finally get ready to go home.
But all of a sudden someone unexpected came over. I saw who came and to my surprise it was my another best friend since childhood Min Dohyeok. "Hey Haeyeon, it has been long since I saw you last. Sorry I came late."
During our childhood days, we were neighbours in the same town and somehow became best friends over time.
When we were around 12, Yujin's family was the first one to move out because her father's company shifted and they had to move as well.
Five years later Dohyeok also moved out and my family was the only one left. We still live in that house.
"We met last Friday Hyeok and we chat everyday" I replied feeling happy that I got to see him.
"But still I missed you guys" he pouted.
"Ya you guys forgot about me!" Yujin exclaimed sadly coming towards us.
"Yo chill I just came here" Dohyeok stated.
"Just kiddin" Yujin chuckled.
So we three talked for a while catching up with each other's stories from the past week and enjoying our time together. I realized that I am getting late and waved them goodbye and left for home.
3rd person's pov
Yujin and Dohyeok were now in a local restaurant having a serious conversation. They had drinks but they were sober enough.
"So when are you going to do it?" Yujin asked Dohyeok.
"When the right time will come which is very soon" he answered.
"Well you gotta hurry before time slides out." She said.
"I know and I will" he said.
"I can't wait I'm getting excited already! Cheers!" Yujin giggled and raised her glass.
Dohyeok chuckled and raised his glass too "Cheers!"
