I must say that skating is not something to learn over the day. It is not something to look into and say that it was easy because it was hella challenging.

“Can you crush the ice? Manipis lang naman ang natanggal sa ice pero it is amazing enough to make my mouth hanged.

“Of course, I can do that. Watch, Aer.”

I wouldn’t dare to miss any second.

My lips automatically fomed an o when he killed the move. He even turned around, arms wide open while smiling widely, as if he was feeling the air.

To tell no lie, he looks surreal. He looks like someone straight from a noble family. A prince who knows what to do with his life.

“Galing!” I clapped my hands and gave him tons of thumbs up.

“Of course, I am magaling. I am qualified enough to skate overseas with the name of the Philippines in my being.”

“What?...” I tilted my head on the side. What he said won’t just sink in.

“I competed before. I was a figure skater.”

How is that possible?

“Why are you so shocked?” tanong niya habang nakangisi.

“Because I didn’t tell you?” patanong niyang sagot.

“I mean, you are famous enough…” and also handsome, “for me to know you.” for us to not know you.

“It was before. Already in the past.” nagkibit balikat siya na parang wala lang.

It was so shocking for me to know this. I cannot believe this.
