"Thrasher!" called my mom." Get your behind out of bed and to the table."

"Yes mom," I called just getting out of bed. I quickly put on my fleece shirt and pants and walked out of my small room into the kitchen. There on our small table was two wooden bowls with wisps of steam rising from the oatmeal. it smelled amazing as it usually did, so i sat down.

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" My mom asked in an excited tone and smiled at me.

"yes! I just really hope that I get to become a hunter." We both dug into our oatmeal and enjoyed the cinnamon taste.

"Well no matter what you do I will be proud of you."

"Thank you mom."I said with a trace of sadness in my voice. Now we were just getting by barely picking up the left overs from the wheat field. Ever since my dad left me four years ago our lives have been really hard.

Slowly my mom stood up and said,"well we might as well get a start on the day." With a weak smile.

I could tell how much she hated making me work all day but soon I'd be able to have a man's job and support us better, I thought as I walked out the door and grabbed the basket. Instantly the bright sun hit my tan skin as I walk outside. I love the way the brilliant yellow sun hits my skin through the tree's branches in Tirion. The great city was located in the middle of a great rain forest.

Me and my mom walked out to the field. As she collected the wheat I dragged the basket and when it gets full I tie it and carry it to our tree. We trade it away to the hunters and keep some for eating the next day.

After supper is when my mom teaches me stuff I need to know like basic survival and how the world works. After that I went to bed.
